Based on what I've read here in TV tropes. If the reboot is more faithful to the comics albeit the ultimate version. Why would people still insist the previous spiderman is better? Despite being more loose.

I admit there were Narm Charm, but the previous films had more Narm. Plus, this adaptation is a bit more edgier and realistic in contrast to the previous film it was somewhat light hearted in terms of the tone.

Whether or not it's faithful to the comics isn't the only reason someone would say something's better.
