I'm just surprised they didn't mention "Kill Bill meets The Matrix".

- Pettanko: Babydoll.
Pettanko is not a trope. UsefulNotes.Pettanko is a fanspeak term definition only. The tropes are A-Cup Angst (girl is sensitive about her lack of size) or Petite Pride (girl is proud of her flat-chestedness). Anything else is not a trope. Please return this example to the page under the correct trope if (and only if) it fits one of those two tropes.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.There is some shockingly poor grammar in both the Main and YMMV pages — I'm actually having trouble reading some of the points, making editing really difficult. Who wrote most of this? A nine-year old fan of the movie? It kind of invalidates the higher-end opinions and pseudo-intellectual message.
Hide / Show RepliesAfter looking through the Main and YMMV pages, I'm not sure who put all of the crud in there. My Train Is Off has done almost all of the edits over the past six months, but it could have predated him/her.
To any editor who sees this: PLEASE avoid bias and natter. This article still isn't in great shape; if you see bad writing or bias for or against the film, don't take it upon yourself to defend or criticize the movie further. The same goes for the other Sucker Punch articles, which I haven't made any changes to.
Whoever constructed the Sucker Punch articles is pretty damned one-sided in regards to critical reaction to the film's message(s). I don't have any particular insight as to how to fix them, but it shouldn't be obvious to somebody unversed in the work that one person is preaching the film's merits.
Edited by Semicorrect Hide / Show RepliesI agree. The whole thing reads like someone trying to defend the movie from negative criticism.
Just wondering why on the Family-Unfriendly Aesop section it lists "Blue gets away with everything he does"? If I recall, he gets stabbed by Babydoll and outed as a criminal and rapist - and taken away by the police. He even drops the stepfather's name in the bucket too. He gets away with nothing, especially with the Word of God that none of the girls actually died in the mental hospital.
