Moving this here to discuss whether it's correct or not:
Be a Whore to Get Your Man: This was what Gigi was raised to be; it wasn't until she started dressing more her age that she won Gaston.
I contend that it's an incorrect trope, because the trope is "A "Good Girl" gets a makeover that changes her appearance and behavior to that of a "Bad Girl", in order to land (or keep) a man." This means that she has to be a good girl to start with; Gigi is not. She's being raised with the goal that she will be a courtesan/Mistress, it's an open secret and she's never a Good Girl. Further, she doesn't start to dress like a fallen woman, she simply changes from dressing like a girl to dressing like a woman.
I also removed High-Class Call Girl and replaced it with The Mistress. The difference is that a HCCG deals with several or many men. The Mistress is attached to only one, for the long term. Gigi is being groomed to be a Mistress, not a call girl.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.
