Mike Pollock has stated time and time again that the change was underway before Bristow's death. The unfortunate passing of Mr. Bristow had nothing to do with the shift, even though the timing was similar.

Does anyone know if he also goes by DJ Tanner? Wikipedia seems to think so and pegs him as the voice of Tony Stark in the motion comic of Iron Man: Extremis.
