I can't help but to feel that Lisa is a big could have been as he first meets her upon going to the principle's office the first time (though that was in the cartoon) the main reason nothing happened? Scott was being himself and when he noticed Kim being bored, history ensues.

then comes their reunion but nothing happens due to Scott being faithful.

It just made be wonder and I'm not sure if this is WMG grade or not.

How sure are we that people who are "defeated" die in any permanent sense? It's never directly stated, Scott makes one or two offhand comments that imply otherwise, and when Scott is killed people freak out which may not be just because he's the designated protagonist.

I agree, we cant know exactly, he has to "defeat" not "kill" who knows they could be alive after the fight bound by the guild to not to mess with Scott anymore, and why would they he beat them all, although with help, but still. Also it is interesting to note, Scott is killed, the exes just turned into coins.

There are duplicate articles for the video game: VideoGames/Scott Pilgrim and Game/Scott Pilgrim, which both have pretty much the same content, though are slightly different.

Wait, Kim Pine is a scrappy? Now I've never been on any sort of forum concerning Scott Pilgrim, but I generally encounter fan hatred on a TV Tropes page outside of the "Scrappy" trope bullet. What does she do to deserve it, anyway?

I agree. If anything, Kim is the Ensemble Darkhorse among Scott fans I hang around with...I'll erase the entry. If someone wants to put it back, reasons for it should be listed.

It's kind of hard to read about this when everything has a spoiler tag. Can someone fix that?

Fast Eddie is insistent that crowning activities be added to their respective pages... which is why he deleted Funny from the film and left it up to us to make sure it reached the page... Thank you for that...

Anyways, I guess we better fill out these pages then.

Hmm....should the Video Game be splitted and made into a new topic?

Started, but it still needs an index, description, etc.

Does anyone else think that the series has at least a few too characters too many? I've only read the first five books once, but I felt that Julie Powers honestly added not all that much to the series.

What's this I hear about Kim Pine being in a comic strip years before the Scott Pilgrim series started? I'm pretty sure some troper saw the Wonderful World of Kim Pine comic strip and mistakenly thought it predated Scott Pilgrim, which it does not.

Yeah. But that comic did rock.

Julie is a complete bitch, every circle of friends needs one. Plus she serves several plot purposes.

- Julie is the one who is hosting the party where Scott meets Ramona. She also hosts the party where Scott fights a robot. It's also her birthday party at the beach in Volume 4. Basically she has a lot of parties, where things happen. - Julie's relationship with Stephen serves to define a lot of Stephen Stills's character, and it shows that no matter what gender he's dating, he dates horrible bitches. - Julie is a connection to Envy Adams. She's the only one of the group that actually wants to hang out with Envy (besides Knives, who doesn't really count), so she helps bring about the backstage scene. - If Julie didn't exist, Kim would appear much harsher. At least Kim says bitchy things to people who deserve it, Julie just fires constantly and remorselessly.

So she does things for plot and characters! Julie gets a lot done despite being a huge bitch.
