I looked through my copy looking closely for the supposed panel, the only one close to that which is described is on page 47 in the US collection of the first three albums. While the two females pictured are quite human-looking, pronouncing them as such would require the complete ignoral of the black spots they have for noses.

Also for cohesiveness can we agree on a term for the individual books? Will we call them "Book X," "Volume X," or just call them by their names?

I'm compiling Blacksad tropes right now and was thinking of making a 'Characters' page. Any thoughts?

  • Was she really a doe? The females are so anthropomorphized she could very well have been a bear.

Not only does it have natter, but it doesn't really fit. Karup's first wife is pretty clearly a bear.
