I'm working on the page a bit, removing dubious examples and tagging Zero Context Examples.

These are IMO wrong tropes and I removed them because they don't fit the character, or at least the context appears wrong.

Lizzie Bennet

  • Hates Being Alone: Though it is downplayed, her main vulnerability, and probably even her Fatal Flaw.]] It makes her much, much more vulnerable.
— I never noticed that Lizzie would be needy for company.

  • Mama Bear
Lizzie: It is taking every piece of my self control that I have to stop myself setting up camp outside her door and waiting for her to come out and tell me how I can make things better. Or going to find George Wickham and... I probably shouldn't finish that. Plausible deniability. Just. In. Case.
— It is my understanding of the trope that it's just for mothers protecting her children. lizzie's being pprotective of her sisters is already mentioned in entry Berserk Button.

Charlotte Lu

  • False Friend: To Ricky Collins, until it gets possibly subverted by her show of kindness towards him. ]]
    • Averted with Lizzie, though episode 41 was called a friendship backstab by Bernie Su himself. ]]

  • Fan of Underdog: May be this to Ricky Collins.
    • Subverted. She showed her despise for him and the extent to which she manipulated him in episode 41.
    • May be Double Subverted, but may not be.

— Tropes cannot be played with this way. No reliable context here in the writing.

Wickham

  • Satellite Love Interest: Initially, and arguably all the way: it justifies how much Lizzie was mistaken towards him.

Satellite Love Interest is about characters who are only defined by their relationship to the hero. He's npthing like this and does several significant self-serving things. Moreover, Examples Are Not Arguable.

Next patch:

Lydia

  • Troubled, but Cute: She sometimes has these vibes because she seems cool and fun to hang out with and party with, but deep inside she's actually a bit sad and lonely person. Lizzie thinks that she is more Affably Evil. She reveals to have a Hidden Heart of Gold as the series progresses. She supports Jane's relationship with Bing and retrieves Lizzie's necklace from Caroline's bathroom when Lizzie lost it at Bing's party.

I removed it as the trope description states it's a trope for troubled teenage guys, gender flipped versions are likely to be ladettes and Femme Fatales.

Similar trope — Break the Cutie is already listed, and I don't think Lydia quite fits Broken Bird because she recovers.

Caroline

  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: With Lizzie. Whichever interest she had for Lizzie, she manipulated her and used all the social standards Lizzie has rejected against her (demeaning feminine stereotypes, social class pressure and unscrupulous greed).

I think she and Lizzie are not that close to form this pair.

This would make it an Audience Reaction. She's not considered this gorgeous in-universe, although she has admirers. Other Atraction tropes will cover it.

Do we really need to spoiler everything about George Wickham's character? I know that just because the original is Spoilers Off it doesn't mean that the adaptation is, but much of what's been spoiler tagged is lifted straight from the book.

Edit: Nevermind, I think I misunderstood the policy.

Actually, the policy on Character Sheets says that they are likely to contain spoilers. Sometimes major spoilers, especially for longer series. Trope titles shouldn't be spoiler-tagged on these sheets at all, though the actual context of the example can be covered of course. The empty space on Wickham looks bad...

If people don't want to be spoilt, they shoudl watch it first, or not read the page.

The Abusive Parent entry for Mrs Bennet? Seriously? Maybe it's just a Values Dissonance thing but none of things Lizzie has said she's done really qualify as emotionally abusive. My Beloved Smother, yeah... but abusive?

Youtube comments? I understand this is hosted on youtube, but heres what we have:

"A commentator: Mary's an introvert and loves books, Lydia needs wifi and ships her sister. So basically they're Tumblr.

A commentator on his first video: (one of the rare ones to not have professed a doubt about their previously perfectly stable and established sexual orientation) Hello, it's Monday. The next video should have been uploaded by now because I F***ING NEED MY BING LEE FIX. Sincerely, a horny fangirl."

A commentator: This is so adorable it should be illegal. The cuteapocalypse is happening " Audience reactions are important, but these look to just be someone freaking out over the shows amazingness. If it's for the jokes, we could just reword them as a regular tvtropes one.

Personally, I don't mind them, and the one about Mary and Lydia is very funny. The one about Bing Lee — not so much. I think audience Reaction should be for YMMV page, and the character sheet should be for in-verse stuff.

I went ahead and removed them. Here they are for reference, and for the case if there were people who would want to put them back. I think the page is better without them.

Bing Lee

A commentator on his first video: (one of the rare ones to not have professed a doubt about their previously perfectly stable and established sexual orientation) Hello, it's Monday. The next video should have been uploaded by now because I F***ING NEED MY BING LEE FIX. Sincerely, a horny fangirl.

Mary

A commentator: Mary's an introvert and loves books, Lydia needs wifi and ships her sister. So basically they're Tumblr.

I'm all for taking them out. "Sincerely, a horny fangirl?"
