Moving Kuma back is the plan, but we're waiting on a change to the CSP guidelines before we take any actions.

So, about the voice actor lists on the character pages, I wonder what we should do with the format for the page. For example, on Nami's page, it reads:

Plus, having it where it is now, makes it difficult to detemine which works and names go with which language.
Most of them were red links, and the main character page is already pretty big...

Just Wondering, since the singular pages of the Warlords (Mihawk, Crocodile and Hancock) aren't too big, should we combine them with their respective crews and put Mihawk back in the Warlord page? (if they don't get too big, of course)
What I think of is:
- Put Mihawk back in the Seven Warlords page
- Put Crocodile in the Baroque Works page
- Put Hancock in the Kuja page
What do you think?

I don't see any problem with Crocodile and Mihawk getting merged back into a group page. My only concern would be if Crocodile gets put in Baroque Works or in Seven Warlords, because if we merge Crocodile to Baroque Works then Gecko Moria should be moved to Thriller Bark Pirates for consistency. Hancock getting merged back might be a problem, though. Her entry's larger than the Kuja page by a good amount, so she would be very disproportionate compared to the other entries as a result. My biggest concern is that she's big enough to where it would be a pain to have all her tropes in one folder and have to scroll through the entire list, especially for mobile users. I'd only agree to merge her if we kept her tropes separated into different folders and we just don't bother to hide her introduction section inside a folder. But I don't know if that would look so awkward and unfitting to the point of her just being a separate page would be preferable.
On the topic of Character-Specific Pages, we should really look over some of them and perform some clean-up, there's probably quite a few non-character tropes on some of them. Plus, if we're merging back Crocodile and Mihawk, I propose Chopper and Vinsmoke Judge get merged back to their group pages as well.
^ Agreed. Why don't we clean up the pages first to see if there really isn't enough for the pages to stand on their own. Because as of now, they're technically big enough.

In general, a page gets split when it gets too large, not when a single character just become big enough to have its own page. It's better having less pages so they're easier to check

Maybe we don't need to post the entire character index atop every page. With it being this big and having so many characters, it just becomes a pain to edit.
For reference, the MCU character have a "trail" of links that only display correlated pages:
I'm on board with changing the index to this sort of style, it would definitely save quite a bit of work whenever there's changes to the amount of pages. I take it that this would be fine for the Straw Hat pages, for example?

Having to go back and forth from the main page sometimes is definitely an issue with the new index that the previous one didn't have. The main issue with the previous one isn't solely about it being large, it's more so that every time there's a page split or merged, the index would have to be edited on every single page. And with 50+ pages, that becomes a bit tedious. I think the new index works as a sort of compromise to lessen both the amount of back and forths between pages and the amount of edits needed to account for splits/merges. If there was a way to get the previous version of the index as a separate template that would only have to be updated once to change for every page its on, I'd see no reason not to use the prior one.

I've noticed that a majority of the novel-only characters have duplicate folders on both the One Piece: Novel Only page and on the respective groups they belong to (such as Masked Deuce, Isuka, etc). I'm wondering if we should keep the novel-only page and relocate all the new duplicate entries there or just move out everything that's there towards the group pages and delete the novel-only page.

I've merged all the pages I've been confident in merging, I'll ask some questions about more possible merges that I'm not entirely sure on:
Can the Roger Pirates page and the Revolutionary Army page be moved to the Others page since they have nowhere better to merge to and to make this page more comparable to the others in terms of size?
Would it be fine to move the Seven Warlords page over to the World Government's page and relocate Moria and Kuma to their respective organizations since all the other Warlords have their own page? There's only three entries on this page besides the general tropes, and the page minus Moria and Kuma would fit.
Should either the Blackbeard Pirates or the Whitebeard Pirates be moved to the Four Emperors page, or even both? Both if they were merged back here would not give this page enough bytes to need a split, so I feel we can save on the amount of pages by merging both back.
Did something happen to the character pages? There must have been some system changes since there are Request edits.

The character pages with request edits are ones that have been requested to be cut. A previous discussion on this thread discussed cutting some pages due to there being so many and since some of the pages are small enough to safely merge back into larger groups. For reference: all of the Buggy Pirates entries were moved to the Blue Seas page (except Galdino, who was moved to Baroque Works), Alabasta and Water 7 were both moved to Paradise, and the Supernova Crews were merged with the Eleven Supernovas. Question is, should I wait for the pages to get cut before removing their links, or should I get rid of them now?

All the movements I've talked about have been done already, yes. I still plan to move in both Dressrosa and Mink Tribe into the New World page, the Red Hair Pirates into the Four Emperors page and Impel Down and the Seven Warlords into the World Government page (while moving Gecko Moria and Kuma towards their own organization pages). I'm also wondering about moving the Roger Pirates and Revolutionaries into the Others page and moving the Blackbeard Pirates into the Four Emperors page, but I haven't had feedback on these yet.

I have reassessed my position on removing the links based on the decision of Septimus Heap for one cut request. We should remove the links or the cut request will be declined.
After seeing Septimus Heap's comment, I agree with removing the links first. I went ahead and made all the pages that were supposed to be cut redirects upon his request for now, if they absolutely need to be cut later I'll put in a re-request.
I've noticed that Buggy is at 43.5k bytes while Mihawk is at 40.7k bytes (excluding commented out tropes) right now (not counting the fact that they'll get a byte increase from the index later). Should we go ahead and make pages for them (or at the very least for Buggy to finally get him out of the Four Emperors page?)

Moving him back to the Buggy Pirates page makes sense. If he gets any bigger, then he could regain the individual page.
I'm fine with moving Buggy back to the Buggy Pirates page as a solution, it makes sense to move him back with his crew. Another option would be to move the Buggy Pirates back to the Blue Seas page since the Buggy Pirates page is small enough not to push the Blue Seas page past 200k, and we would just leave Buggy where he is. The downsides of moving Buggy back would be that he would be disproportionately long compared to the other entries of wherever he'd get moved back to and that his entry would be a large chunk to read in just one folder. And if we're moving Buggy back for the sake of sizing down on pages, there's quite a few other characters that could probably be relocated besides Buggy.
Sorry for the super late reply but, considering there are a lot of pages, if we can reduce the number, we probably should. Maybe merge Water 7 and Alabasta with "Paradise" or Dressrosa with "New World"

I can't say much for character pages since I'm fine with anyone over 40k having their own page, so if there's any you want to move back bring them up. I'm also not sure how to approach the movie, anime, etc. pages. From what I'm seeing here, the following pages can be moved fine:
Buggy Pirates -> Blue Seas, Galdino can probably be moved back to Baroque Works.
Alabasta and Water 7 -> Paradise, both pages can fit here fine.
Supernova Crews -> Eleven Supernovas, just rename the page Supernovas and Crews Revolutionary Army and Roger Pirates -> Others (there's not really a better place to put them)
Red Hair Pirates (Definitely, the page is way too short), Blackbeard Pirates and Whitebeard Pirates -> Four Emperors, rename the page into the Four Emperors & Crews. We can split them off later if the page grows too big.
Impel Down -> World Government, you can also merge in Cipher Pol but I think Cipher Pol is big enough to where it can remain unmerged.
Dressrosa and Mink Tribe -> New World
Mix in Kuja, Sun Pirates, Baroque Works and Thriller Bark into a new page called Seven Warlords Crews, and move Arlong and his crew out of Sun Pirates and put them in East Blue since it makes more sense to associate them with that page. Buggy Pirates and Hearts Pirates should be fine where they'd be moved.
This method cuts out about fifteen pages overall out of the sixty present, sixteen if Cipher Pol is merged. This is only accounting for whole page movements and some character movements, of course, and not many individual folder movements.

I've noticed that there's quite a few group and character descriptions that have major spoilers in them, such as the Warlord system being abolished, Bellamy being in the Dressrosa Arc and what happens to him afterwards, CP 9 being brought back into CP-0 and Luffy being described as one of the Emperors in his description to name a few examples. It's not an issue for any of the characters that are labeled already as having unmarked spoilers, but for the rest I'm wondering what New World spoilers we think could be kept in and which ones should be avoided entirely.

I think that, unless said information/revelation is trivial for the character or already spoilered by the format (such as Aokiji deflecting, since he's described as "former" admiral). For big reveals that happen late in the story and aren't that necessary, such as Sukiyaki being alive, Kaido and Linlin losing their emperor status, Luffy officially becoming an emperor, I think should be spoilered in the entry and not mentioned in the main description. The latter only has to introduce the character, it doesn't have to cover everything he/she does in the story

According to this note from Administrivia.Spoilers Off:
- Entries in Character Sheets with Walking or Late Arrival Spoilers. Sometimes, some seemingly minor characters are so significant that discussing or even mentioning them would spoil a major plot point of a work, if not the entire work. In character pages for these works, these characters' entire entries could be spoiler-tagged to the point of the entry being unreadable to the average reader, making the effort pointless. Later works can also inadvertently spoil significant points about these characters if the reader hadn't read any prior works featuring them. Thus, it's recommended that character entries whose subjects fall under Walking and/or Late-Arrival spoiler have their spoilers un-tagged from the works' character pages; they can still be tagged on main, trivia and YMMV pages as well as other character entries mentioning the characters in question.
- However, a notice cautioning the reader about the spoiler-heavy character should be added at the top of these pages as a form of courtesy. If possible, give the character an alternate name for the entry folder while leaving their real name in the entry. I started with trying to remove New World spoilers in general from the Straw Hats pages, I ended up getting some criticism in an ATT with that and decided to revert them back since I was jumping the gun a bit. Until there's further discussion and either a consensus concerning having New World information in character descriptions for Pre-Timeskip characters or not, a list made of which New World information absolutely needs to be spoilered and can't be in character descriptions, or if we decide to go the route of having everything be spoilers off, I'm planning to add in "New World spoilers are unmarked in character descriptions, and New World details in examples can be spoiler-tagged if necessary." on the page top warnings for now.

I'm quite bothered by the fact that Im's folder is so casually present and mentioned on the World Government page; this character's very existence is a gigantic spoiler in itself, for crying out loud. Shouldn't they be moved to their own section and folder marked as "SPOILER CHARACTER" at the very bottom of the page, for the time being? I'm all for keeping order in pages like these, but I think special cases like this one deserve special treatment. It's just too big a spoiler to be left hanging so casually IMO.

I vote the first option, A section on the WG page named "Spoiler characters" then a folder named "Im". Nobody is going to know that name until he appears, but him being in a spoiler character section would stop a late-arrival-spoiler of him in his current place above the 5 Elder Stars sharing the "High Leadership" Section. We tried Spoiler character page, but it was removed, if we put him on the WG page we have enough sections to hide which one is his, until you open his folder.
As Fighter pointed out in this ATT, "Never, ever, put "spoiler character" in a Character page folder. If you can't list the character without spoiling the work, then put a warning at the top and call it a day."
I agree that Imu's folder is a rather large spoiler and it should be moved into a different section than where it is currently. Instead of making a new spoiler section for just Imu, though, I propose moving them to the Employees/Associates section since obviously anyone on the World Government page is going to be associated with it and since we'll already have a spoiler warning for them at the top of the page or on their folder.
Alright how are we gonna be restructuring this page for the new emperor? I get that we're supposed to avoid spoiling things for the anime-onlys, but it's kinda hard to spoil-tag something like this

I'm suggesting this because the character keeps changing roles within the story. Just keeping him in the Warlords page is a spoiler on it's own if you're a newcomer.

Also, there are already a lot of pages and we can't make a character page just because we wish to, the character folder must have a minimal number of bits. We can try to trope Buggy as much as possible as to reach the count, he's done a lot of things (he's been in the story since the beginning)and is a well defined character, I'm sure we can reach this if we did it for Law, Pudding and Boa Hancock

Apparently, on Oden's page, a troper wrote a very extensive description of his life. I like Oden, I think he's a very complext character, probably the best written character in the series (at least so far), and his story is one of the peaks of the series, but isn't it a bit too long?

This is something we've been discussing in the Character-Specific Pages cleanup: I really think we need to do away with cramming a character's moniker in their namespace. Visually, practically, and technically I find it is just a lot of unnecessary work to edit and navigate. And it would make the series' massive index less clunky.
Examples:
Change One Piece: "Straw Hat" Monkey D. Luffy to just One Piece: Monkey D. Luffy One Piece: "Pirate Hunter" Roronoa Zoro to One Piece: Roronoa Zoro One Piece: "Cat Burglar" Nami to One Piece: Nami etc. I'm not sure about characters that are more attached to their moniker like Big Mom and Blackbeard, but the rest of the characters have pretty recognizable names that wouldn't pose this issue.

The page count comes to 43,130 bytes, which is enough to qualify him for his own page. Without the index and the commented out stuff it's at 38,744 bytes which is so borderline that merging it back feels like a waste of time (since he'll just get back up there soon enough anyway).

It's a kinda valid point, mostly because the epithet might change over the course of the story (like with Usopp), thus the page would need a rename but, aside of that, I don't see anything wrong with using the epithet as well. I get however that it makes writing the page-link longer

Okay, it seems there could be some Lightning Bruiser misuses. The trope isn't just about characters who are Strong, Though and Fast, but (to copy from the main page) "This trope only exists relative to other characters in universe. A statement that a character is strong, fast, and durable does not define them as a Lightning Bruiser; most Action Heroes already demonstrate those qualities. A character is a Lightning Bruiser if they are explicitly stated to be stronger, faster, and tougher than most of the other characters"
Basically, it's one of those tropes that requires a kind of In-Universe mention of it, otherwise everyone could qualify since One Piece is a World of Badass
Here's the examples I found, these ones are those I think fit the criteria:
- Katakuri (he's consistently exhalted by his sibling as "perfect" and "better than everyone in everything")
- King: Zoro comments how strong and fast he is and how troublesome is to even "hurt" him
- Eneru: Pun asides, has Logia invulnerability (which is pretty unique in Skypiea), one-hit-ko multiple enemies and lightning-speed (the latter is not pointed out, though). He's also commented many times to be more or less too strong for anyone to defeat him
The ones I'm not 100% sure, mostly because I don't remember some pointing them out:
- Kaido: While his strength, speed and durability are explicitly shown, there's to point out that it's a given when one also fits the World's Strongest Man trope
- Luffy: Yeah, he is S-F-T (short for Stronger Faster Thougher) than most of them, but I don't remember it being pointed out in-universe
- Zoro and Sanji: same with Luffy, plus, in their case, it seems more of a case to futher expand the Badass Normal trope which more or less says the same thing. I'm more inclined with Sanji because he beat Queen after developing the Germa recovery ability (thougher), being so fast to become invisible (faster) and beating Queen in strength (stronger). The former two traits are also pointed out
- Jinbe: again, like Zoro and Sanji, though I also don't recall any "speed feat" with Jinbe, let alone someone pointing it out
- Lucci: It's applied to his hybrid form but, considering the only comment about it is Rob Lucci himself describing it as "too slow" and preferring a faster but more fragile form, I would say he's a Mighty Glacier in the normal hybrid form and a Fragile Speedster in the mutated hybrid form
- Kaku: The entry needs a rewrite anyway, because it only says that he's nicknamed "Yamakaze" for his great speed. No comment on his strength and thoughnes
- Doflamingo: Yeah, he's very strong, but nobody commented it
- Marco: I think going on par with Kizaru fits the "faster" part and his healing ability gives him the "thougher" part, not sure with (physically) "stronger"
- Jozu: Diamond is undoubtedly "though" and is Faster Than They Look, but never commented on it. Even his strength doesn't seem that great relatively to the other fighters. Not sure if anyone was surprised by him launching an iceberg
Again, tell me what do you think fits the criteria and whose "stats" are remarked upon in-universe (or by Oda himself) Plus we might find some who fit the trope but don't have an entry yet :)

Okay, a troper added the actors who will be potraying the first 5 straw hats in the live action series, since they've been just announced. However, considering the series will probably be very different and with its own character page, wouldn't it be better to have the actors mentioned in the future Character Page of the Live Action series instead of these pages?

Since the quick character index has gotten pretty big (and is likely to grow further), should we put it in a folder and/or place it at the bottom of the pages to make them more readable? Thoughts, feelings?
Putting it in a folder seems like good idea to me, so you don't have to scroll for ages to get to the actual trope lists - though I haven't checked what the formatting rules say. I don't think it should be moved to the bottom as navigation between the various pages becomes much harder when you have to scroll to the bottom every time.

This thread has established that the byte limit for creating new character-specific pages is at 40,000 bytes. Going through the folders, these characters seem like they could have their own personal pages:

- Charlotte Katakuri (Jesus Christ; 98,812)
Is there an easy way to measure bytes?
- Charlotte Pudding on Characters/OnePieceBigMomPirates seems pretty big as well.
Edit: Tried https://www.lettercount.com/ Her article had a letter count of 50030 (50,083 bytes with https://mothereff.in/byte-counter ).
Edit 2: Without Katakuri, Characters/OnePieceSweet3Generals is just short of 40.000 bytes and should probably be merged with Characters/OnePieceBigMomPirates .

The Sweet 3 should be fine; the 40,000 limit only applies to character specific pages. For other character pages, apparently as long as the page they're splitting from is above 15,000 bytes they should be good. (I asked here)
And yes, you're correct, Pudding is good to have her own page (I got 51,729 on that second site).

I’m not against the Flying Six, or whatever they’re called, getting a page of their own, like how the All-Stars and Sweet Commanders have their own, so maybe it would be a good idea to read how everyone feels about such a change before any unnecessary conflict erupts.

Uh, good question. Granted, the crew as a whole might get bigger overtime in trope terms, but I just figured that the Flying Six are growing a bit more distinctive as time passes.

Integrating them into the Calamities page is probably the best option. I wouldn't expect a page like that to get too big.

Okay, a troper got really excited and split many pages into subpages (or sub-subpages), but I think it wasn't exactly necessary because now we have many pages who are pretty small (especially the alabasta and Buggy Pirates page)

We should contact them for their reasoning, but they definitely need to be told that this sort of thing should be discussed first.
I contacted him/her and told me to have made these changes on speculations, with the basis that such characters (such as Vivi and the Buggy pirates) might be important in later arcs... which is not how a page split should work. Now, these pages can easily have some more tropes and become larger, especially the Alabasta characters, but I think it's still not the reason to split them now.
Btw said troper has updated the links on top of the pages how I asked (thanks, if you read this) so it would make reverting back much longer

Considering the slew of information regarding the Roger Pirates in the recent flashback chapters as well as the creation of the Roger Pirates page, where do you guys think characters like Crocus, Rayleigh, and Tom should be? Like, Tom is easily foldable into the Roger Pirates page since the "Historical Characters" is a bit of a mishmash, but Crocus and Rayleigh could easily be on either their respective folders on Paradise or the RP page itself. I'm kind of leaning towards rolling them all onto the Roger Pirates since they are a very plot-important crew in the One Piece world and it might be good to have them all together, but then should we also put Shanks and Buggy on that page? Or keep Shanks and Buggy separate from the rest of the Roger Pirates and just have their folder link to their respective Emperors and Warlords pages? Thoughts?

I think it's redundant have them in the "present day) pages (like Oden and Toki in the Wano page) only to redirect them in the "flashback page". Plus, the subpage itself still follows the old "split by story arc" pattern instead of "split by location/affilation".

I realize that there are no guidelines for what info can be added in a character description (as far as I know, there are only guidelines for the formatting), so I may be completely outvoted on this, but...
Do we really need all of these trivia headers? For almost every character, there are headers mentioning voice actor/actress, age, birthday, bounty, debut, and Devil Fruit. The voice actor header is on almost every character sheet for anime/cartoon characters, so I'm cool with that, but do we really need the others?
We have to remember that a large percentage of those who visit TvTropes are readers only, so it's important to keep the pages reader-friendly. I think some of the reader-friendliness is lost when you have to scroll past a bunch of headers to get to the description and more importantly to the trope list. I think that if a One Piece fan is really interested in knowing, say, Robin's birthday or the name of Senor Pink's Devil Fruit, they'll probably go to the actual One Piece wiki where you can not only search directly for any character and go to their page, but also add trivia-specific templates/sidebars that this page doesn't have. Of course we should have a basic description of the character for the sake of new/forgetful readers, but otherwise the ones who go to TvTropes' One Piece character sheets are probably those who want to see which tropes are associated with the characters. If they want other info on the characters, they are probably more likely to go to the One Piece wiki. I realize and agree that it can be funny to compile trivia, but is that something the casual readers/non-editors will care about?
I hope I expressed my thoughts clear enough - otherwise feel free to ask.
In short: Do we really need headers mentioning the characters' ages/birthdays/Devil Fruits/etc. on TvTropes? Aren't those more appropriate for the "official" One Piece wiki?

I'm inclined to agree with you, I think it's only worth mentioning their voice actor (and even then...), their debut and their age. The devil fruit and the bounty can be put in the description, which is actually is making the trivia facts above redundants.

A user has also been adding "position" in the headers during the last few days. I really think that's unnecessary as well, given that a character's position can easily be mentioned in the first sentence in the description (and already is mentioned in the description in 99% of the cases)
And of course by the time the live-action TV series premieres, we can put a "Portrayed by:" for the characters and probably add their character designs from that particular series. Thoughts?

So, I was thinking with the bit of back and forth about how we should pace Charlotte Lin Lin on the page:
a) Under her own Crew or b) Under the Four Emperors Folder as her own 2nd level point
if we should generally basically disassemble the Four emperors subpage and move all of them over into their own Crews. It made sense to have the four emperors as a page back when they were mostly known as such, but by now I feel all of them are distinct enough with their crews to be asosciated with these pages (or as their own supages within their crew) moreso than with each other. The "Emperor"-thing being more a title then a group, if you know what I mean.

I've been thinking about two questions lately:
-Would the characters from Monsters be worth adding to the Others page? Monsters isn't technically One Piece, yeah, but it is canon to the series, so I figured it'd be nice to include info about them there. Not that I mind either way, I'm just making a suggestion.
-The Straw Hat Pirates page has a Ships section, but the only folder there is for the Going Merry, and the Thousand Sunny doesn't seem to have developed enough character tropes to deserve its own folder (or otherwise no one has bothered creating one). So I was thinking of something; why not instead make that section about the former Straw Hats, as opposed to the ships? That'd be a good way to include Vivi, who is officially recognized as a former Straw Hat, whilst expanding on the section. Again, I don't mind either way, this is just a suggestion.

Could we trim up the voice actors parts? For those who have more than two, it can be pretty long. On The Dragon Prince's character page, they put the other VA's in the note superscript. For here, just the current Japanese and English VAs could be listed and the rest in the note's part.

I think some pages needs a rearrangement, mostly because the One Piece world is very well detailed, making easier to divide the characters by island instead of simply "villain and allies"
The idea is split the "Major Allies/Villains" and "other" pages (and arguably even the flashback characters page) into these:
- East Blue Inhabitants: Both civilians and villains, if there are too much, we can split it
- Paradise Islands: Characters from Little Garden, Drum, Alabasta, Jaya, Longring Island, Water 7 and Sabaody
- Fishman Island: Inhabitants and the villains of the arc, and maybe the arlong pirates too since they originate from here
- New Wolrd Islands: So far only Punk Hazard and the Underworld
- Dressrosa: Royal family, dwarves and corrida colosseum gladiators

I actually have been thinking about a page for the Fishman/Merfolk like how we made stuff for the Sky People and Minks, so I’m up for it! Although, I think that unless new entries are made for characters from Dressrosa like that Tank Lepanto guy or whatever, then Dressrosa can be mingled with the New World section. Including Scarlett and the Tontatta Pirates, there’s about seven “present” Dressrosan entries on here. Then again, the way Vivre Card releases new information, we’ll might learn some more stuff.

The Fishman Island and New World Pages should be made shortly. However, once we get to that, should the Fake Straw Hat Crew and their one-time subordinates, the Caribou Pirates, be placed in the Paradise page since they appeared at Sabaody, timeskip or not, or what?
Also, I know that the Warlords are considered a separate superpower from the Marines and Emperors, but considering how the two former are supposed to be aligned with the Government and what's been going on lately, I've been thinking we modify things a bit by listing the Warlords as part of the Government section and rewriting the index with the following.
Major Characters = Straw Hat Pirates (or something like that)
Three Superpowers = Balance of Power
Other Organizations and Inhabitants = Supporting/Major Characters (or something like that)
How does that sound?

He's one of the most important Warlords, and his folder is the largest on the page by a fair amount, so it would make sense to give him one; especially since it'd help lighten the rest of the Warlords page. I already mentioned this in the Big Mom Pirates character page, but I'll mention it here just in case as well. I'd like to request the Was Once a Man entry from that page to be removed, as it's misused and not actually an example. The homies aren't transformed humans, they're just normal items and animals being given sentience from a part of a person's soul. The original person is still intact, and for that matter mostly unaware of what even happened.

Eh, debatable for a few of them (Was surprised to see how small Jinbei and Chopper's were), but I have seen some franchises that were given subpages for all of (or at least almost all of) their main characters (Ex: MCU and Dragon Ball), so do whatever you want (Dunno if that's a policy change or stand ruling, either way I won't mind.)
Definitely agree in Sanji's case though. Dude has the most tropes out of all of them (Was surprised that Nami got a subpage before he did TBH.)

The Eneru/Enel debate: Lately I changed every Eneru into Enel on the subpages, because I saw it everywhere as the official romanization (even the Spell My Name With An S says that Enel is official). But some people are changing it back to Eneru for reasons I'm unaware of,but outediting eachother will geet us nowhere so we should decide which on to use and use it consistently. I don't know what the official english manga and anime use but IMHO we should use Enel.

I've seen this happen before on the King Of Fighters and Bleach character pages. The cause of that is just the pages have gotten so big, packed with information, that adding edits just don't work.
A way to get around this is just make another character page just for the other characters and save the main one just for the main characters.
So, I'm thinking, a lot of recurring characters show up first as miniboss-types working for major villains (some we have, some we don't). Executing deserters has been pretty standard military policy for large portions of history. Hell, the word decimate comes to us from the Roman policy of killing every tenth soldier for a company that even just did poorly in battle.
- Those were over his entire career, not over the course of one fight. The one fight includes a good chunk of that total, though.

I've noticed that some character folders are getting long enough to fulfill the minimum bite size for being split into Character-Specific Pages (Franky at 44k, Garp at 45k, Bonney at 44k, Saturn at 43k). I don't think we should give them their own pages, but I do think the length of their folders could prove cumbersome for navigating their tropes. Therefore, I propose these folders could get soft-split much like how a large work page would be soft-split into multiple folders. I'm thinking something akin to the following, where Franky's folder on the Straw Hat Pirates page would be split into:
Franky
Insert character description for Franky here.This would serve roughly the same purpose as a character page without having to create an entire separate page that's only around 10% of the maximum possible size. And in general I think this would be a good balance between managing the size of large character folders and reducing the need to create new pages.
