Has anyone else noticed the unexplained wedding band on Renard's hand. Is there a trope for that?

I'm only on Episode 7 so I admit I may be making the call a bit early but does anyone find Nick quite bland as a character compared to others in the series? I'm not just talking about Monroe or the Wesen characters, even Griffin and Wu seem more "human" for the lack of a better word than the protagonist.
Edited by ZeitgeistGleeAnyone else think there should be folders on this page for "Nick and his allies", "Notable Antagonists" and "others"?
Edited by isoycrazyDon't think this trope applies to how Renard treated Adalind, it was more like: "you're no longer of any use to me and you were stupid enough to get into this predicament so you're on your own.
What little inter action you see between Kelly and Diana in the epilogue shows signs of Kellyvoossibly being an annoying younger sibling
