openCommunity Flash game builder Videogame
There was this game/service i used to frequent, but for the life of me i cant remember what it was called. I remember that it was 2-d games, i dont know for sure if there were any games/levels made by the creators, but i do remember that there were different ways of making objects react to the world around them, and that there were a number of different playable characters in the editor. I also remember one of the really popular levels was one where you played as one of the female characters running thru a mirrored landscape, and you had to jump over obstacles in the reflected world, and another popular level was a sort of town exploration thing. This would have been around 2010-2012, and i think i first found it on Jayisgames, but i couldnt find it there.
Edited by gert10openStrategy game in a Jidai Geki setting Videogame
I remember there were four clans you could play as: - The Dragon Clan which were the good guys, their units included spearmen, sumos with cannons, geisha healers and samurai - The Serpent Clan were evil counterparts of the Dragons and had bandit themed units and ronin - The Dark Tree clan who used dark magic - The Wolf Clan who were former slaves Another thing i remember is you could create higher tier units by sending them to other base unit training buildings.
Edited by Muppetopensolve your own murder Videogame
i can remember damn near everything but the name, here goes.
i remember its a flash game i found on newgrounds, you play as an odd looking ghost trying to figure out how you died ect. this involves helping a ghost get her eyes out of a well and putting them back in her head, trying to pass on to heaven but failing as a white flash knocks you back. and defending your girlfriend from the man who killed you with the help of a dead woman who hates his guts because he killed her too.
i remember the ghosts take on appearances based on how they died. water girl drowned, fire girl burned to death.
i also remember a ghost who gives you advice bragging about how he could go all the way to the mall, a place you can never go. since how far you can travel from the site of your death depends on how much power you can amass.
openNo Title Videogame
It's a console game with two parts in it - strategic, turn based part, where you move around units on the map, and action part, where the game suddenly becomes a fighting and units begin beating the crap out of each other. There were monstrous fighters there, and it's at least six years olds.
No, it's not Soul Calibur III Chronicles of the Sword mode.
openPS1 tactical combat game with weird "beasts"? Videogame
I recall a friend owning this. I think it had one of the setups where you move units across a board, and if two intersect you get a real-time battle controlling your unit against the opponents.
openRacing game with in-universe ads Videogame
A PC racing game with in universe ads. Ones a pizza company that lasers a hole in your apartment to deliver the pizza? One of the follow up ads was a glass repair company that fixed the hole the Pizza drone makes.
openPS1 strategy game Videogame
It's been a good couple years since I last played this game, so I don't remember much about it and what I do remember might be inaccurate, apologies in advance.
Anyway, the game in question had a Pokémon angle to it where there were several dozen mons you comprised the playable forces; the mons came from eggs shaped like uncut crystals and you had a number of elixirs that you could pour onto the eggs to make them hatch. The egg would develop into a specific creature depending on the elixir used.
The only gameplay areas I remember are a small cave, a basic battle arena, and an overworld map where you could go to the aforementioned two places and the lab where you hatched mons.
openPC game featuring character with floating limbs Videogame
There was this computer game I played a long time ago that’s main character had floating limbs like Rayman. It would start with him floating in space near a planet. You could guide him to land on different parts of the planet which would lead to different levels. I remember the levels had a lot of variety and included side-scrolling, first-person perspectives, operating computer panels and more. I couldn’t find an entry like it on the floating limbs page. Does anyone here know what the game is called?
Thanks.
openText Based MMO/MUD Videogame
It was a text-based fantasy rpg. While there were a choice of races you could choose from, first time players only had access to human. You would wake up naked in the woods outside the town. A lot of the dialogue was very humorous and put jabs at some nerd culture. You could leave the town to "look for trouble" to find some monster to fight. The combat, you could choose a part of the monster to attack, and it'll alert you which part would be best to defend against the next attack.
There were a few currencies, but I think cigarettes were the main ones used.
The game was free to play, but there was some special items given to those who spend the money. The gimmick was that these items gave boosts to everyone on the server, not just the person who made the purchase (to make it less "pay to win")
It was entirely browser based.
openPS2 licensed(?) Game Videogame
I remember that I used to have a collection of demos on a PS 2 game disc. There was a Harry Potter one and a few others that I forget, and a lot were just trailers and not even full demos. This one in particular was centered around a guy who was escaping from a volcano, you have to platform across rock masses in the lava and I remember there being a cave after a little bit with some crystals or something in it, but I always fell before I made it there.
In short: PS 2 game, looks like it's from a Disney movie, Platformer, Volcano level
openTwo games Videogame
Two games that I remember part of, but which are different genres.
- The first is a first person fantasy game, one of the difficulty levels is warlord, and it let you choose the gender of the character who you played as. One of the enemies could teleport and throw fire, folding in on itself when it teleported, and I think it clutched a book. There was a ring that you could find which let the character survive underwater, and the intro to at least the demo let you punch grave markers.
- The second game is a third person game where you control a large hovering tank - so large soldiers look like ants next to it - and could could summon structures with it, and I think also some other units to fight, including the relatively small troopers, so it hybridised third person tank warfare with strategy game design.
openAquarium Simulator Videogame
When I was younger, I remember playing an aquarium simulator a lot. I think you had unlimited money, and could buy any amount of fish you want. It played classical music and water noises in the background. There was a menu where you could select music to play, but it was all classical. There were a bunch of food options - one made the fish flash rainbow colors, one made the fish really mad, one was just a slice of pizza, one was generic fish food. You had a bunch of objects you could place in the tank and could rotate. It had a bunch of settings, but I always played on Very Easy because my fish would never get sick. If you didn't clean your tank, your fish would get sick and die unless you played on Very Easy mode.
On the menu there were four options. You could go inside your aquarium, you could build/demolish parts of it, and you could buy fish. The build/demolish menu had an animation of some construction equipment destroying something, I think? The store was all in dark wood with faint lighting, and the fish would be swimming around in tanks. The fish had personalities - some of them got along well with others, and some were aggressive. You could also see if they were male or female. They came pre-named, but you could rename them. There was also a library where you could look up information about various fish and a legend about a mermaid. The mermaid legend had a statue of her attached. She would show up if you kept your fish very healthy on hard mode, but I never managed to get her to show up.
The graphics were decent. It was in 3D, and had a very early 2000s PC game look. The icons for food looked like they were made in MS Paint, though. Sorry I didn't describe this very well! (There's a lot of aquarium simulators and for some reason I can't find this specific one.)

Edited by BootlebatopenDating sim where I can only remember one character. Videogame
Dating sim, eroge, possibly visual novel.
One of the love interests is the protagonist's (older?) sister, who has blue hair (usually in a ponytail), a striped shirt, and possibly striped underwear. Think Akihisa's sister from Baka & Test, only athletic. Looks like an actual young adult (somewhere between 18 and 25), not the generic 14-year-old look many dating sims use regardless of character age.
99% sure it was on Windows, so it was either a Windows or an in-browser game.
May take place at a boarding school or a college (if so, some of it takes place in off-campus housing).
open2D mining video game? Videogame
I don't remember how long ago I played it, it was probably around 2012-14, but I remember playing as a small robot that could mine all sorts of different materials from the ground (and later, the sky and stars).
You had to build conveyor belts with the mouse to transport minerals and materials back to the refinery(?) and you could upgrade the robot with boosters and other things.
That's about all I can remember about the game.
openMecha building point and click [Page Pending] Videogame
What I remeber is the main objective of the game is to gather everyday objects to build a secret project ( a mecha, I think)and was a point and click game with cute desing, white-skinned characters, and the first place is a school. the protagonist was weird and wanted to end everything se didn't like, and had a blue haired friend. Can someone give me the name and/or make a page for it?
Edit: First reply found it: Psychotic's Mecha Nika by Mango Protocol. When I get some tropes noted, I can start a page for it. And maybe include it's sequel.
Edited by gabrote42openA videogame about a princess. Videogame
The plot of the game is that the princess is a spoiled brat who gets turned down by a prince and tries to prove her worth by going on a quest. One of the game mechanics is that she can use her tantrums to warp reality to change conditions in dungeons and overcome obstacles.
This game isn't that old, I remember playing it in 2012-14ish. It's about this demon that escapes from hell through a portal and immediately starts killing anyone in the scene. It was like a click game where they put you in a scene and you are supposed to figure out how to kill whoever was in there by pressing stuff, at one point it was a crazy cat lady, another time a priest. I know it sounds weird but it was funny and gross to 13 y.o me so it would be great if someone helped me find it!
