Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

We have a separate forum page specifically for this kind of question: Is This An Example?
Remember "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer", by Patsy and Elmo? Well, today, I found this song by Elmo (as a solo act named Dr. Elmo), called ["Don't Make Me Play that Grandma Song Again"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTfXQwdkJks), which is about a DJ who is sick of playing the song. At first, I thought it could be self-deprecation, especially since he calls Elmo someone who cannot sing, but then, hearing the lyrics again, I thought it could simply be an observance on how overplayed the song is (as Christmas songs usually are). So does this fit?
