I haven't read the discussion, but I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to delete other people's entries from subjective pages unless they're either shoehorned (such as if they're listed under a kind of Audience Reaction they don't actually fit) or if they're about real people.
Edit: Just read the discussion (I just woke up a little bit ago) and it sounds like a Rule Of Cautious Editing Judgment issue.
