Just to be clear and without descending too much into gossip, it doesn't sound like the rape actually happened. From what I heard, some form of impropriety occurred, which led to people making accusations of rape.

tl;dr: Something bad happened, but it wasn't rape.

Okay honestly though I don't see why everyone is leaving Reviewtopia then. Isn't Lord Kat not part of it?

Apparently it happened on the Reviewtopia livestream, which is why people are angry at that site.

Eddie LeBron did a pretty decent Mega Man fan film, which is what he's best known for. It's worth a viewing, I'd recommend looking it up.

One of the things that irks me about the TGWTG fandom is how folks will gossip about contributors personal s$%& at the drop of a hat.

I'm with you. It's a little disturbing.

So shocking to learn that people gossip about others. No one ever does that.

Also, it's kind of a serious situation.

To those wondering what hapened, here's the summary to my best knowledge, under spoiler for those who might be triggered, or want to spare themselves of drama:

LC of Sinner Radio, a show on reviewtopia had a Magfest stream that included several people on skype in their own hotel rooms. Lord Kat and the woman were drunk, and there was groping, and a top being taken off. while this was happening, the official RVT twitter made some crude tweets (IDK the exact content) promoting the stream. At some point Lord Kat exited the room. Around this time Hagan who had been on the stream had left out of disgust, and would later announce leaving Reviewtopia over the incident.

not sure what dirty laundry got aired on streams or what people talked on different message boards, but apparently Lord Kat's fans are blaming Hagan and Nchick (for some reason) for smearing LK and accusing him of rape or something. While also being extremely gross and sexist about it.

Anyway, non-consentual groping is still sexual assault, and nudity is not exactly allowed on Live Stream, and RVT really screwed the pooch with what happened, and LK stans are gross. Now benefit of the doubt; we don't know the whole story, and Screaming Mantis personally wants to drop the issue 1

The last time I went on LK's stream, he was LPing Thief. What the hell have I missed?

A small update:

Apparently LK blamed Hagan specifically on the controvercy and was very rude and personal about it.

They clashed before over his Spoony jab and he insulted her appearance, so I'm not surprised he'd do that.

On the other hand, Lord Kat has nothing to do with TGWTG anymore, so do you think we could possibly talk about something lighter?

I never bet against a seven foot punk rocker from Northern Ireland.
