I have only once asked before knowing the crush's sexuality. I'm just including every time I've confessed to a crush, and I confess to crushes I know aren't attracted to guys with the same frequency as crushes I know are attracted to guys.

I tried to find out about their sexuality, but I felt too weird asking. So, I just asked them out whenever I felt we were alone. xD
Yes, somehow asking them out felt easier than asking about their sexuality. :P
