Is the Shin Kyuseishu Densetsu movie series along with Ten no Haoh an alternate continuity, given the fact in the original manga, Raoh didn't have two extra friends (looking at you Reina and Soga), Yuria pregnant after Kenshiro's final fight with Raoh, etc.?

The only gaiden manga I've read is Flower of Carnage (Jagi Gaiden). And while I really really like it, I have to admit it's probably Alternate Continuity.

Anyhow, something always bugged me about Ryu. He looks like he's seven, maybe eight years old. So how the flipping hell can he be Raoh's child, when Raoh died... I don't even remember, but 15~20 years ago?!

how did all these guys get so dang big? is that a mutation side effect from the apocalypse or something?

That reminds me of a review I've read back when Jojos Bizarre Adventure started getting published here. When it came to the question of why the guys in this series could be so big, the columnist ended up writing "at least in Fist Of The North Star they have the radioactive mutations as an excuse !".

The only JJBA character I can remember being the kind of WTF-huge that we see in FOTNS was Tarkus, and he was an undead zombie reanimated by Dio.

Sure, most of the other Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency (and even a lot of the Stardust Crusaders) male cast are super buff manly-men, but they're still more-or-less believable (i.e., like Kenshiro) instead of humongous freaks like Uighur or the boss of the Fang Clan.

right now i'm at what you could call "Part 2" of the manga (after the Time Skip), just after Falco died. you can imagine my shock when Hulk Hogan and Mr. T. showed up in this thing.

yup. Hulk Hogan and Mr. T. were some of the first big dudes Kenshiro fought after the Time Skip.

Well, sometime here in the next few days, I'm going to take a crack at the Toki, Rei, and Juuza Gaiden manga.

I can't bear to look at Yuria Gaiden, way too much bishie for this franchise.

If they do another Ken's Rage/Musou game, think it should be up-to-date with current canon, like calling Shin's Nanto Sei Ken style Nanto Koshu Ken, chnaging what Raoh and Toki talked about prior to their final fight (since the Shura no Kuni arc retconned it), and actually bringing up stuff from Fist Of The Blue Sky (the fact that Kenshiro Kasumi did Musou Tensei prior to his nephew)?
