"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."So are the tweaks sufficient? If not can you give me some advice on how to adjust her more?
This is the internet. Jokes fly over in private jets, and sarcasm has bullshit stealth technology. Our resident Canadian is asleep, personally I see much less problems with those though.
Either him or Rai will get back tomorrow though, sorry for the delay.
By my reckoning, it was decent, yes. I suppose the adjustments are satisfactory.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)So I guess I can join in now?
This is the internet. Jokes fly over in private jets, and sarcasm has bullshit stealth technology.Sure thing. I'll allow LeChuck4 to tell you what the current setting and plot is. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Hello, I'm Pokesonic Legend! You can call me Pokesonic or Poke for short. For my first outing here in WAOA I plan on being Lucina. More specifically, a Good Future version of her. Basically, she's a more happy-go-lucky version of the Bad Future Lucina seen in FE:Awakening. I will introduce more characters soon for this game, when I get around to seeing what their personalities and powers are like. (Who may or may not be Shiroe and Ciel Phantomhive.) Anyways, I hope I have a good time here. Also, I'll like to have plot details before I jump in please.
Hey Pokesonic Legend, welcome to WAOA!
Just as a minor question; have you read the rules for the game? If not I can definitely link them and I recommend you look over 'em.
Now, not everyone here plays Fire Emblem. Like me, cause I'm a pleb-tier piece of shit. For those of us that don't, you mind giving a short description of who Lucina is, what she's like as a person, and the things she's capable of? Emphasis on what she's like as a person, as well - WAOA is a game mostly about character interaction, and while occasional shootouts and duels and fights do happen, they generally don't tend to be the focus of day-to-day play.

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."I play a version of Lucina as well, so might be interesting.
Hey! Am I doing this right?
Adverbingly, hbombHey, Hbombindustries! Welcome to We Are Our Avatars!
So, who do you plan to play? In addition, could you give us a short sypnosis of who they are? Powers and abilities are nice to know, but there is an emphasis on their personality - WAOA is mostly a game about character interaction, and less so about combat. Not that combat doesn't happen, but it generally isn't the primary focus.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."So, since the plot hasn't been moving in the past week or so, I'm giving you all a quick reminder on the current options you have for things to do:
- Talk to the Argonian Prisoner you freed from the Fort and ask him if he knows more about what the Nazi Elves are up to
- Locate the "Large Island off the north coast" (pretty obvious which one that would be if you know TES Lore or, well, just look at a map of the region) and find/infiltrate the Nazi Elf Main(?) Hideout
- Try to locate another Oblivion Walker before the High Priest does so they can't complete the Ritual... again
All of these are equally viable options I have things planned for, someone just has to actually GO for it.

Sorry about not participating more, but as I am sure you are aware, I am slightly busy.
Also I've not been playing WAOA as much as I ought to. >.>
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Well, seeing as I am on a spacecraft in orbit, the second option should be easy.
OO-RAH!Hey, sparty! My avatar is stone boy, from the substitute league. I thought I could be a sort of "straight man" character. Also, expect a GENEROUS amount of rock puns.
Adverbingly, hbombSince like three people here read comics, it's from an older incarnation of the Legion of Super Heroes.
Yeah, I think we'd appreciate a more detailed description of who Stone Man is. No offense intended, of course, but he's from an older era of comics and not many people here probably know who he is or what he can do, myself included.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Hey, ericshaofangwang? I would like to talk to you about your Operator character.
To put it simply, after letting you play them for a bit unfettered, I do not believe that the players are really enjoying interacting with them. Most of their abilities do not seem limited within reason when you play, such as being able to hack instantly on the fly and apparently they have some kind of ability that they wouldn't in their source material? I dunno, that's what I heard. Also, as far as personality, they act rather irrational and irresponsible, which is better than your first attempt but still something many of us find rather bothersome to play around.
Do you mind if we discuss how to tone back some of those traits? Or at least find an avatar that might be a better fit for your playstyle and ours?
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Alright, Raidou, I guess I'll try to tone down some of the traits of the Operator down a notch. I guess I'll try to play the operator more as an observer/mission control type than a direct combatant in future if it would help the other players. Also, all of the Operator's abilities are accurate to the source material. Some traits might differ from Tenno to Tenno, but in general all the abilities that the oprator have are true to Warframe's lore.

This is the internet. Jokes fly over in private jets, and sarcasm has bullshit stealth technology.Well, the thing is, we already have characters who serve in that capacity. And I do not think they would appreciate being shoved to the side without any discussion of this.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)I guess I'll try to play my operator as a neutral observer then.

This is the internet. Jokes fly over in private jets, and sarcasm has bullshit stealth technology.Hi ericshaofangwang.
I'm here because it appears that something need to be made clear to you. Specifically the way you are playing Operator. Let me first say that its okay to play incredibly powerful characters. There is no limit on that in WAOA. However there are a few things, that are just common courtesy in just about every RP.
First of all, your Operator's Dialog:Pretty much most of the things out of Operator's mouth are brags about how powerful he is. This may be fun for you to write, but its not fun for anyone to read. No one will ever be impressed by how many powers you can slap on an OC, And just spouting them unsolicited can rub people the wrong way.
Secondly Operator's Actions: They are inconsistent and very random, and sometimes serve to destoy the dramatic tension or be intrusive. Now what I mean by this, is things like Operator hacking into the team's comms, and offering to banish any enemy into a different dimension, which again destroyed the tension of the scene because apparently Operator could solve it any time. It also steals way the feeling that they can do anything from the other players. Another example is Operator apparently botching a teleport and going outside the spaceship. This does not work as a joke, because Operator suddenly fucking up her powers doesn't make much sense. Nor, does it work as a dramatic scene because no one is going to believe a character like Operator is actually in danger.
Thirdly, Operator's Abilities:Again, there is no limit to how strong you can make your character. But there is a limit on how much you can stack on your character before they break suspension of disbelief. I've come to understand Operator is apparently from the Warframe universe but has abilities and can easily do things that are hard, or nearly impossible for people from that universe. To sum that up, you need to keep your character within the limitations of their home universe, in order to keep their abilities believable.
If you want my advice you are going to have to start over with Operator. Make them a normal Tenno with one Warframe, and a defined personality that fits a cyborg space ninja. I hope this will be helpful to you, and I'm willing to answer any questions you have. We'd really like to see be able to gel well with the rest of the community which is why we're doing this.
PM box is Closed, Indefinitely Friend Code: 3368-4181-6850Fair enough, but I guess I'll try to keep the Operator's abilities the way they are and have her be more of an observer who rarely interferes than anything else.

This is the internet. Jokes fly over in private jets, and sarcasm has bullshit stealth technology. To be honest, at this point I would ask to have the abilities parred back. Someone who is supposed to be completely neutral and observant really has no use for reality warping capabilities such as teleportation and dimensional shifting.
Or try and see if there's a character or concept that would allow you to be more actively involved without such an emphasis on that kind of potency.
