Okay, Zazza345 (of Nippon Ichi Forum) has translated what he could, and there is a correction. The girl is NOT the trap. The robot behind her (the pink robot), is a trap. Weird.

..The robot? It didn't seem particularly girly. Points or originality I guess?

Is the Atelier Meruru series any good?

If you liked and played Totori, then you will likely like Meruru. Here's a bonus boss fight video that shouldn't spoiler much except EX attacks. Also, BGM is a remix of Mana Khemia's Nefertiti.

But if you never played the series before, don't play the first one. You'll enjoy the second one (Totori) better since it fixed all the problems with the first.

The Atelier line of games is pretty good, at least from what I've seen. Then again, I've only played Atelier Iris one and two.

Yeah, I've never so much as watched a gameplay video of the series. I have no idea what you even do in it.

Oh, and I started D4. Beat episode 1, and yay Fuka. I remember when I first saw her in the promotion art (and as the first shown female, thinking she was the love interest) I was quite, eh on her. "I know prinnies are popular, but seriously"

Either way, learning a bit about her, a few known spoilers, and that she isn't the LI, I much like this Fuka much, much more. I don't know why, the axe crazies are kinda fun to watch.

Well, and those who leave sardine heads on "dead" rockstars...granted, I know no rocksstars who did die. I'm pretty sure If he was important, I'd remember him, and I totally don't remember Axel.

Axel never dies. There are several moments where Valvatorez thinks he dies and gives him a eulogy, but he then gets back up later.

Actually, I want to say that every scene where he "dies", there is a bit where he gets up and walks off while the main characters are focusing on other things. It's technically a Funny Background Event, so I guess it's missable.

Actually, confession time, I think Axel is funnier and more interesting in this game than he was in Disgaea 2.

Nepnep mk2 finished for the ~third~ time.

I did the Leanbox ending this time. It (mostly) made up for the Conquest ending with its fluffy fluff. Lowee or Lastation are next.

I think you'll get a laugh out of the Laststation ending.

I think I'll do Lowee next because I just spent a bit too much money on Rom/Ram-related DLC. Just to make use of it. :'3

Axel is a fun character. I found his scenario to be akin to pulling teeth, but as a character I'm actually kind of a fan. He's so self-absorbed and genuinely messed up that he can't help but be interesting. I mean Laharl, Etna, Flonne, Adell and Rozalin are all more interesting than him, but still.

Oh, and if we include bonus characters then the list would read Laharl, Asagi, Gig, Zetta, Etna, Flonne, Vyers, Adell and Rozalin.

I actually see this as Fridge Brilliance. Quite a few things were boring and generic back then.

The guys at Nippon Ichi Forum say that the preview guy summoned Nobuo Uematsu. If that name doesn't ring a bell read this. This games hype has just jumped up.
