Except why Celestia do that....unless Laharl/Flonne screwed up and things have gone sour between the two realms.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Riding monsters have been confirmed. Check page 4 for a bigger image.
Also there's a theory going on the Nippon Ichi forums that the blonde girl is Laharl's mother. There is no confirmation of this what so ever so take it with a grain of salt.

Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Laharl's mother was a brunette, wasn't she?
Besides, it doesn't matter if it is or not, as it's been established that folks lose all their memories when they reincarnate. She wouldn't recognize him, and chances are, he wouldn't recognize her.
Also, hey, Harly's riding a Dragon. Wonder how that would work?
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Vyers doesn't look like Krichevskoy, though.
Actually, as of D4, he kinda does.
Well, not even that. If you undid Krichevskoy's stupid twirly hair and shaved his mustache, he'd look more or less like Vyers.
And Vyers wasn't technically a reincarnation, at least in the sense of Prinnies and Red Moon and such. From D1's ending, I'd say he was more of a phantom or something of the like.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Uhm, Flonne's legs are weird on that third page picture.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Seems like Laharl has the same issue. Could just be artistic preferences at work, though.
Speaking of which, it's nice to see that the character portraits are being completely redone. Kind of inevitable, now that I think about it, but these ones in particular look much more detailed than the others.
It looks like scarecrows* are back as well, apparently. This should be a pretty good sign for the rest of the previously forsaken classes, I'd say.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI do hope the hobbit/pixie guys come back, and still have Petit Flare.
...Seriously, while simple, that move looked cooler than it had any right to be.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Oh man! Galactic Demons might come back!
I hope they get a deep, booming robot voice. "DESTROY." "TARGET ACQUIRED."
Is there any way to access the extra stuff for Disgaea 3 without shelling out for it?
Seriously, the guy who thought it would be good to make you pay for something that's actually on the disk needs to be buttfucked with something sharp and rusty.
BUY A CAR FROM ME!If you have a Vita get the Vita version of Disgaea 3 it comes with everything.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2It would be cheaper for him to just get the complete DLC pack, IIRC.
But, seriously, even if I knew a way to bypass it, I won't support dishonesty.

Actually, the complete DLC pack is $50, whereas AoD-of-another-name is $40 at worst. So yeah, getting the entire port altogether would actually be a bit of a moneysaver.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyOr - and here's an even better idea - how about I don't buy a new system and a game I already have just to get access to stuff the Japanese got for free?
BUY A CAR FROM ME!The Japanese got the DLC for free? First I've heard of this.
I think the only free DLC is the HD Asagi for Disgaea 4.
Wait no, I think Pleinair in Dark Hero Days was free?
edited 30th Oct '12 2:22:44 PM by Otherarrow
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Sapphire and Pleinair were free DLC in the English version. I don't know if they were in Japan as well.
It would've helped if you pointed out that you didn't have a Vita in the first place. And what puts you under the impression that Japan doesn't have to cough up extra for these types of things as well?
Just cherrypick whatever peaks your interest if you want to keep your points. I'm pretty sure that's what everyone else who doesn't have access to the expanded versions do, anyway.
Asagi HD wasn't free in Japan, actually; she was busy helping out with the earthquake fundraiser when she was first released. Only weakens his point, really.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyLast I checked, Japan's DLC is generally more expensive than North America's, not the other way around, so I doubt the claim of the Japanese getting all the DLC for free is true.
@My error on the price: I got it when it was half-off, so I guess that's why I was confused.
edited 30th Oct '12 2:25:27 PM by burnpsy
Oh, just those guys? That's a very small amount of "the extra stuff", you should have been more specific.
edited 30th Oct '12 2:28:07 PM by burnpsy
...That was a patch, actually. Vanilla D3 users from all over received it, IIRC.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyYeah, the Diez Gentlemen were patched into the game. They're not DLC. (And not really worth it from what I've seen.)
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Yeah, the Diez Gentlemen are basically Majins with a single "unique"* Evility instead of the four the Majins can get.
So yeah, they suck.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.They can't even learn any weapon skills, you have to give those to them through the Class World them to make them useful.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!
As I recall, one of the angel characters in that was like a prototype for Vulcanus II.
