Either way, looking forward to more news on this. A little wary about the main focus apparently being solely on the D1 cast so far, though I suppose Laharl retaking the protagonist role would only be fitting for an NIS anniversary game. That, and new units are always a plus.

...Why Dimension 2?

Anyway, in terms of chronology, this is either one of those strange "sequel to one thing but prequel to another" or Flonne fell again, making the subplot about her becoming an angel in Infinite and her becoming Archangel in 4 seem...kinda pointless. Status quo I guess.

The art is cute I guess. I saw what is either a male version of the Celestial Host class or more angel characters. (I saw the original female version of the Celestial Host too of course. She is strangely prominent in that group shot)

EDIT: The teaser site isn't up yet, but it plays a remix of the title screen music from the first game. Darn it NIS, don't play at my nostalgia. ;_;

I was always under the impression that Flonne was only an Archangel In Name Only in D4. Makes since considering her particularly frivolous behavior and the fact that her return to Celestia was treated as little more than going to college in Infinite.

And I'd say an interquel is more likely, considering NIS likely wouldn't be so shy in revealing the rest of the Disgaea lineup if this all takes place after all of the previous games. Assuming the follow-up rumors end up being real, of course.

She is treated in D4 as being in a position of authority and it's implied that she commands her own legion of angels (though naturally, the only one we see is Vulcanus 2).

She is eccentric, but her title isn't just window dressing. She appears to have just as much authority as Vulcanus 1 did, but she uses it...less seriously. By a long shot.
