Holy shit, it was a grenade launcher. I'm honestly surprised I ID'd that, I don't know jack shit about guns outside the Mosin Nagant, M1911A1 and P90.

Armories all seem to look the same ;) Reminds me of the air force base armory I spent some time in in the cadets back when I was sixteen or so.
A brighter future for a darker age.

Mostly correct Tueffel, the white furnitured rifle near the SAW's is someones civvie rifle that they were keeping there at the time. The Woodland camo rifle in the corner is an accurized M14 like Tueffel stated.
Well Morven that would make complete sense since it's an Air Force Armory. :P
Not pictured are the 240B's, and the M4/M9 racks that line the entire armory. But it's all the same guns so those are boring, that is the back area which is more reserved for specialty weapons and odds n ends. We also have 203 attachments laying around, but we don't carry them on patrol. We actually don't have any explosive 40mm grenades for the 79's or 203's, just tear gas and smoke.

I'll take apart my M9 and M4 and do a thread on the inner workings of said guns for anyone who's interested in a few days. Promise tons of pics.

I was thinking of getting a war hammer and name it Mr. Biscuits for kicks. I was thinking of getting a .38 for carrying though. And I've met people who decided to go the Rambo route and make a knife out of a leaf spring. I also met a dude who carries a sai.

Well the .38 was for carrying concealed (when I get that license). If I wanted something for kicks, I'd get a silver .454 Casull and a black fifty cal

The Sanzo and Vash and Jigen fangirl in me wants a revolver. But the practical-minded daddy's girl in me knows I'll fuck up everything I try related to firearms, and that if I ever do gain anything resembling proficiency it will have to be something with a scope because of my eyes.

Oh, it's not just that my nearsightedness is horrendous, it's also the fact that my eyes don't work together as well as they should; in fact either will only perform at top capacity when the other is closed.
I should really wear my glasses more often.

Well, to aim a gun you'd generally be closing one eye anyway.
@Norn: that Mateba gun looks nice, though it's probably more expensive and less practical than a magazine-loading automatic pistol anyway. I wouldn't mind owning a Webley-Fosbery Automatic Revolveredited 22nd Feb '10 2:16:53 PM by Morven A brighter future for a darker age.

Oh. I didn't know that. I thought you were supposed to keep both open and not blink.
