One thing that surprised me in this chapter and the last one is that Marisa and Kosuzu are about the same height. I always imagined Kosuzu to be younger than Marisa, but maybe Marisa is just short. Then again, it might just be Kosuzu's usual outfit that makes her look childish. She did look much more mature in the fortune-teller outfit from the last arc.

They've stood next to each other in previous chapters. Marisa is a bit shorter than Kosuzu.

Marisa's always been a shorty shortersen. In the fighting games I think Youmu's the only character who's shorter than her? And she's in a low stance (but she's also short).

Maybe Remilia as well.

Cirno is tiny and yet she's not much smaller than Marisa.

Marisa is a dwarf.

Fighting games average the heights out so they don't look odd next to each other. Even if the actual relative heights aren't exactly right. And the mangas have other ideas of how tall the characters are.

However short Marisa is in FS, at least she doesn't look like she ages backwards every chapter *cough* WaHH *cough*

I had not! Thanks a lot for linkin'! In terms of facial and body animation, this was probably the best Walfas I've ever seen. Sleek and crisp and other words I only have a vague understanding of (there was one distracting animation problem, however, that came up a few times, where one arm completely dislocated from the body in certain movements). Liked the voices, too.

However! I HAD alrady read the original Spaztique story; and the video shares the same problems that one had. Namely, that, no matter how much I love love LOVE Spaztique, he DOES have a problem with his "satire" being simply a purely one-dimensional strawman bashing. In this case, of all his critics (probably of Diamond in the Rough specifically) being rolled up into one Hate Sink of a "character" who simply represents everything Spaz hates about his critics and exists only to be destroyed for the satisfaction of it. That may qualify as a "story", but I find it doesn't qualify as "entertaining" for me. From the first 10 seconds of the video, as soon as the strawman opens his mouth for the first time, you already know how the entire "story" will go :/

...I wanted to apologize for the negativity, but I find I actually dislike the whole thing more the more I think about it Spaztique's "My Little Pony vs. Touhou" actually is good satire that is fair to both sides, for example.

So I started playing Touhoumon for the severalth time, and decided to make an all fairy party for kicks. And it turns out that this makes the game incredibly easy? They all level up super-fast, and having a party of only easy-to-level puppets keeps them all ridiculously overleveled at all points of the game. The fact that they have less total stats is kind of irrelevant compared to the mighty level.

Actually, it was so boring being overpowered that I started a new game with all oni and tengu. Now there's a challenge run.

So like Gen VI without all the bells and whistles?

It's got better bells and whistles, imo.

Anyway, the point about the fairies is less their typing and more the fact that "weak" characters levels up faster. It would be the same with Chen, Kyouko, or various other low cost characters. I just find it funny that using "powerful" characters makes the game harder.

Although, really non-crowned royalty and especially exiled royalty are expected to sit around and be useless so the term doesn't really fit.

Kaguya doesn´t count. She is in the Ubers tier.
