Worth reading the latest update on Linda's condition, if only for the realisation that Rob cannot talk about anything, even his wife's cancer battle, without resorting to tropes and cliches - Seriously, read it if only for the Wunza Plot description of the people helping him.
Here's to croaking cancer.
Text update. Marie, Templeton, and the Dirtamancers about to hit Wanda's group.
Comic update. Stanley isn't impressed by Parson's trick with the gems.
Comic update, with Rhyme-o-mancy. The Deiform is coming to Spacerock, and Wanda meets the Dirtamancers.
Text update. Actually I think it's technically a comic update, but it's so text heavy I can't really tell the difference. Anyway. Brief flashback to before the Dirtamancers broke into the underground. Wanda muses on her Fate, and can feel that she is supposed to go through the portal (though she doesn't realize it leads to Jillian). But between the fact that she doesn't have the Arkenpliers and Parson's order, she decides to ignore it for now.
Naah that's a text update. In comic infodumps, the speech is inside bubbles.
Text update. The Great Minds are betraying everyone again, and Bonnie is very happy to have a warlord who shows even the slightest amount of professional competence.
Update. Shirley isn't buckling at all, even though she really should.
What demands is Shirley making to Televito again?
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."Update. The text of the agreement between TV and GK, and some more information on Signamancy itself.
Text update. Benny and Huehue.
Is there a reason why Sky doesnt simply, er, "Kill Bill"?
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."There is a possiblity of damaging/croaking someone other than Bill or she was waiting for more bullets to arrive.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."And if Charlie realizes what's happening, he can give the order to croak Caesar. Guns might make things too fast for him to react, but the prisoners who are still with him definitely don't have anything fast enough.
New text update. This feels like a big deal — THE big deal, perhaps, that this entire, torturous chapter has been leading up to.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"So it looks like the Pliers just got awoken, that’s really is huge.
"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranThe Arkentools have shown some intelligence before. Here, the Arkenpliers lost their artifact bonus when Ansom tried to use them against Wanda (he mentions it in the text update where he is trapped in Faq's dungeon), and here it's implied that the same thing happened when Stanley tried to use the Arkenhammer against Jillian.
Actually being awake is definitely new, though.
So I finally realized at least part of the reason Charlie is so leery of Jillian. If you look at the terms of the Deal of a Lifetime, he is absolutely prevented from attacking Faq or in any way sending anyone else to attack it or anything like that but the part of the deal on the other side only applied to the Court of Faq, an institution that no longer exists. So in theory Jillian could walk in single handed and kill every single Archon in Charlescomm and then Charlie himself.
By extension, he may also be wary of her being croaked and decrypted because then she would remember what he did to her and get her little Jester back, meaning he would have someone totally set on croaking him and with no way to fight back.
Basically, that deal is incredibly exploitable on the part of Faq.

It took me way too long to find, but here's where Ansom says the players refused to hit Wanda.
Anyone else disappointed the Arkenhammer won't get the Chatty Kathy treatment any time soon?
Please tell me Isaac will make it.

“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson.I'm wondering what would happen if the pliers were used on his body.
It does seem like Erfworld is evolving very rapidly. If it isn't literally game-changing, then I'll be a little disappointed.
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."Text update. Skyy decides not to shoot Gobwin Knob units, then finds Benny looking over the demands.
Comic update. Sizemore still has too much faith in the Great Minds, but Parson officially has a rescue plan... which Stanley immediately derails by insisting on going himself.
Shirley also just started telling Charlie off about that, so the truce might involve Gobwin Knob getting their money back.
