I can't see that ending peacefully as far as Israel is concerned. They won't let Lebanon be taken over by Hezbollah.
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."Let's not turn this into an Israel discussion with respect to Hezbollah. It's going to turn out ugly.
All I'll say is that, most of the world's powers are so unwilling to back the UN tribunal that it had no teeth for a decade because everyone was afraid that if they indicted anyone it'd turn into a violent hell hole the day after. Really, all that did was delay the disaster to now, where Lebanon has suffered way too recently from invasion and now is just full of tension.
We are living Interesting Times...

'''YOU SEE THIS DOG I'M PETTING? THAT WAS COURAGE WOLF.Cute, isn't he?I thought no one support the UN tribunal was becaues it wouldn't really amount to anything. Not to bash the UN more than it deserves but I haven't seen it do anything worthwhile in regards to the Israel situation (I guess that is what I should call it).
Well he's talking about WWII when the Chinese bomb pearl harbor and they commuted suicide by running their planes into the ship.

On Topic: So in summary, Hezbollah assassinated the former PM (we all know they did), then took their ball and left because they didn't like his successor, resulting in the collapse of the Lebanese government, and then they came back and got one of their own elected PM as a compromise candidate because the way Lebanon's government is designed means the coalition needs them in order to function.
No wonder people are taking to the streets.

I think its time to give the UN its own topic.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.
There is a reason why I'm making snowclone titles. It should become obvious from the content.
The Unity government of Lebanon is falling apart. Hezbollah had joined up and laid down its arm but years before Prime Minister Rafik Hariri got killed in a car bomb. They threatened to walk out if any one from Hezbollah got indicted by the international tribunal set up.
The tribunal has issued indictments but not named who and we'll have to wait for warrants, finding out who they are and anything actually happening.Still calm for the moment.
The Prime Minister is still in charge in a caretaker capacity in the mean time. They've got to rush back from summits abroad to come and try and form a new government.
