PS. The teaser is pure Squick.
Jonah FalconLooking all psychotic is so hot.
What the hell is wrong with me.
But vomiting blood and teeth isn't.
All the Ewoks will look up and shout, "Save us from the Klingons!" And I'll whisper, "Why so serious?"Meh, the original really doesn't need a sequel.
Perhaps a graphical update, but certainly not a sequel.
Hello new friend, my name is Fred the words you hear are in my head. I say, I said my name is Fred, and I've been... very naughty.Same creative talent behind it, so I don't see a problem with a sequel 10 years later.
Jonah FalconQuestion: Would I need to play the first game to really be able to appreciate the second one?
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!^^ Obscurity? Grimm was successful enough to warrant 3 seasons till 2009 and Alice 2 has been in development since then. And they teased a sequel to Alice for much longer. This announcement isn't surprising and didn't come from a developer who spent the last 5 years doing jack.
^ Hard to tell at this point but doubtful. The sequel continues 11 years after that and the original game is out of print for quite some time.
Never mind. Mistake.

Jonah Falcon^^ And? the fact that they teased Alice 2 for longer doesn't really change the fact that, doing a sequel of your most successful game 10 years later is suspicious. Maybe he's really Doing It for the Art, but I think I'm entitled to at least raise an eyebrow.

What you do with your eyebrows is your business and you are entitled to whatever degree of cynicism you wish. But I don't have share skepticism solely based on the fact it's a sequel.
I hate you all for tempting me to look at the teaser. D:
"Religion isn't the cause of wars, it's the excuse." —Mycroft NextI'm getting very tired of Alice In Wonderland.
Oh please please please let this be released on the 360
I dont know why they let me out, I guess they needed a spare bed^ It's a multiplatform title. It's a given that it will appear on 360 too.
8D I think I feel... whats it called again, joy?
I dont know why they let me out, I guess they needed a spare bedOh crap that mouth with the blood and the teeth I think I'm going to vo-BLARGH!
Anyway, the game looks interesting, even though I've only read and watched the first one.
I don't have too much to say.Sequel? Pah, I still haven't finished the first one.
PC, 360, PS3.
Jonah FalconIt looks like a Heroic BSoD in the trailer.
Jonah FalconThere is only so much you can treat by therapy. Alice went through so much Break the Cutie in the back-story for the first game, you can probably get her catatonic by popping a balloon.
About the trailer.
- Notice the limbs hanging from the rafters?
- What do you think the hiss "What Have You Done" means? And who is saying it?
Just got the press release, posted it on my site here, along with the full presser and the teaser.
Electronic Arts has announced the sequel to the bizarre take on Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland titled American Mc Gee’s Alice. The sequel to the 2000 game will be called Alice: Madness Returns, designed once again by Mc Gee, and to be released for the PC, Xbox 360 and Play Station 3 sometime in 2011.
According to the press release:
Alice: Madness Returns takes place 10 years after the conclusion of the original game, with Alice struggling to recover from the emotional trauma of losing her entire family in a fatal fire. After spending a decade institutionalized in an insane asylum, she is finally released to the care of a psychiatrist who just may be able to help her conquer the nightmarish hallucinations that still haunt her. Alice embarks on a mission to root out the true cause of her family’s mysterious death, jumping from a gloomy and stark London to a rich and provocative Wonderland.
You can visit the official site here for more info. Let us know if you’re psyched for the sequel.
