I've seen that scan for the new Moon Gundam manga...
Looks like the setting is the Moon Moon arc of ZZ.
The MC is basically Mikazuki Augus with a tribal costume.
Managed to finally play DWG Reborn and thank god the maps were fixed. They're now a nice mixtures of tight corridor-like colonies an wide open expanses like in 2, and space battles are back so its epic again. Also playable mobile armours are fun,
Too bad Beargguy is pre-order DLC only I mean come on seriously
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowBeargguy really sucked, it was just basically a reskin of the Acguy which is in game. It wasnt even Beargguy-san as well.
Moral of the lesson?
Never preorder anything so that publishers will stop offering preorder bonuses in the first place.
Speaking of preorders...
Does anyone know if Barbatos Lupus, Virtue and Hot Scramble are included in the EU release?
Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...Yeah but its the principle of the thing really. Plus the pre-order DLC also included a Battle Of The Reds scenario with Char, Johnny and Captain Bollock Naked. I kinda hope Lunamaria shows up as well since she's red.
Ah well, at least I could still buy Literal Winged Zero and the Dendrobium Stamen. Fuckin' EW Wing Zero is hilariously broken.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowNew Unicorn project in the works. Will be revealed next Spring.

PSN ID: FateSeraph Congratulations! She/TheyThink it'll somehow lead into F91 or Victory in some way?
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowI'm still trying to figure out what was so incredible about Unicorn that they felt the need to make a 25 episode anime after the OVA series. The Neo Zeong was really underwelming to me. When I first saw the kit of it I was pumped. When it first showed up in UC messing up the Feds on remote control I was getting really excited. Then when Banager and Riddhe faced off against it felt like the fight was kind of bland, IMHO Banagher's last fight with that purple Zulu/Hamma Hamma kitbash had more tension, and then the newtype bs turned the Neo Zeong to dust.
Fate Grand Order players will know me as Ryusei-Go.Well, it was technically 22 episodes, and the Neo Zeong fight was probably meant to lead into a throwback moment for UC fans. Although, I will admit it was a tad bit underwhelming, considering Banagher needed the help of two certain spirits to win.
Oh, and Angelo's second MS was called the Rozen Zulu.

Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...RE:0096 was essentially a way to get a highly popular and highly lucrative property onto broadcast TV. Unicorn was laser-targeted at older Gundam fans - it was a lush, beautiful UC story with elaborate, attractive mechanical designs, with a plot that was fun and unobjectionable enough not to get in the way of its commercial appeal. Basically, it exists to sell kits.
What's precedent ever done for us?Though they still replaced the original Diver City RX-78-2 statue with a Unicorn that goes into Destroy mode at night so...
Also just tried out the Dendrobium Stamen DLC in Reborn and fucking hell its hilariously broken. I dunno if its as Game-Breaker-licious as Literally Wing Zero or moreso but I went into the Stardust Memory DLC level, with an untrained Uraki, and the Stamen unmodified and Stamen's Charge 4 Attack and aerial SP basically made a mockery of Gato.
Also in this DLC Gato uses what I think its a colour-changed Alpha Azieru since I guess too lazy to implement Neue Ziel?
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowThe broadcast version of Unicorn was pretty much because Sunrise had a time slot they needed to fill on short notice, so they chopped up Unicorn into 20-minute chunks and called it a TV show. It wasn't really about Unicorn specifically, so much as Unicorn is what they had available at the time, so they said "well, why not".
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Pretty much that. They needed something to air, its popular as fuck, and long enough to fill in the gap while the next show gets ready.
Same deal with the statue change: its popular, all the big Gundam related stores were/are changing, and it gives a new cool face with a cool attraction in the transformation and light show[[labelnote:* The RX-78-2 also had something of a lightshow, but nothing at all like Unicorn's[[/labelnote]]. And now that we know there's a new project related to Unicorn being made, it's one more reason to go with the RX-0 instead of some other suit.
Hard to get bigger advertisement than a gorramn statue people come in from all over the world to see.

PSN ID: FateSeraph Congratulations! She/TheyYeah, the statue has mode-change gimmick, which would be quite awesome if one see it IRL.
I just hope the 1:1 Gundam is now secretly upgraded with head vulcans...
Unless you come to Gundam post-Unicorn, I'm pretty sure you would remember how fandom used to say Sunrise focus too much on One Year War stories. Now it look like Laplace Incident become new focus instead.

And at one point they almost went on a Cosmic Era binge but so much for that.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowI probably wouldn't mind more Cosmic Era, but what I really want is more Future Century.
Can't we have a bit more Correct Century?
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowHow about if they make a UC show, they set it after Victory or something? Tired of seeing a UC show with Zeon or some deriviative such as Neo Zeon.
Warrior to the very end! My tumblr, dood! Not a show, but the new Crossbone manga (Shin Crossbone Gundam: Dust) is set after Victory.
I second more Future Century.
Fate Grand Order players will know me as Ryusei-Go.@Dark: Is there av ersion of Crossbone Gundam in it? I love that nutty shit.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowWhat exactly is the point of UC without Zeon? The UC timeline is basically defined by the Federation/Zeon conflict. If you're not going to use that, then why set it in UC at all?
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.
This script for the live action Gundam is one of the most fascinating things I’ve read in a while. Just think of how different everything would be if that got made. We would have never seen Zeta for instance.
I also figure Tomino would have a breakdown several years early.
