I propose that when banned users try to access the site, they're redirected to...somewhere. I'm still working on that.

I'd suggest a picture of a cornfield, but Second Life does that.

Some information on why they were banned might be better than 403, of course.

I agree that we should link banned users to Reispin. I think we should use Meta Four's "Xales"(I think that's what it was) Reispin because that one was really well done.

I came to this thread fully intending to oppose whatever frivolity you might have been cooking up, but we should totally link them to Reispin. Much more TV Tropesy than Rickrolling.

I find the music of Freezair's original Reispin was just funnier than the others.

We could link them to a random one.

And if you thought that was funny, try this from the same game.

I'll be the Stop Having Fun Guys guy and also support a page to tell them why they're banned. This page should look like a regular page and all other links go to reispin.

I like what 4chan does in this case; a simple "You are banned ;_;" page with a picture of Yotsuba looking sad, and a message saying why. Replace Yotsuba with Trope Tan and we'd be onto something. :D

Why not just include why the person is banned in the description of whatever youtube video you link it to?

How about a sensible, straightforward explanation of why they were banned, but with a Reispin that plays automatically when you visit the page?

@Bobby: I like that idea. Simple to do, to. Get the Reispin .gif, paste in the center of the page, pick some random Reispin music, loop it in the background and a message beneath the .gif explaining the bannination.

To further TV Tropes-ify it, I propose we make it the "The Dragonfly Who Thought He Was A Mockingbird" 'spin.
