I am getting tired of people putting Meta Knight back up on Game Breaker. Can you please stop?

It makes me really steamed, but I don't want to elaborate on the issues with this again, so check the discussion page for Game Breaker.

It's not me, I'll tell you that. Personally, the only true Game Breaker in Fighting Games are those so powerful that it must be banned for more variety.

In other words, you can't list Metaknight if you don't also list Snake.

Well, Meta-Knight is banned in Italia.

Pit's annoying, but I think metaknight is even more spammy. The only issue I have with snake is his final smash.

Supposedly, Snake is higher tier, although unless you're an obsessive gamer, it shouldn't make any difference.

Personally, I find Meta-Knight hard to control and pretty useless.

I play Olimar a lot, he's a little hard to use effectively. I also Like to use the ice climbers, zelda, and samus.

...excuse me. Yeah, MK is not that bad, I mean, he has no projectiles. I'm just glad that Yoshi is too low-tier to never be nerfed!

Seriously, who besides me actually uses Yoshi?

I do on occassion though I'm more of a Lucas or Marth person. He's that character I use when I get bored of the other two. I usually just end up killing myself with his side-B by accident.

Sometimes I feel like the only person that actually likes and mains R.O.B. Honestly, I have a kind of robot fetish and his playstyle is intriguing, although the way I play it, it has become fairly predictable.

I use R.O.B. from time to time, but I'm mainly a Sonic/Bowser/Toon Link user. I actually like the fact that playing as Sonic is hard to get used to; makes it all the more rewarding when one gets his play style down pact.

I play as everyone. I like all the characters, so I like to play as all of them.

I've seen too much Ho Yay Bowser to play him without smirking, so I usually don't.

Um...

This isn't the most active forum community, especially during morning hours. There's no need for that.

That being said, I do use Bowser and DK for power, and because Bowser has a relatively easy to pull off instant KO suicidal.

I only ever have complete noobs as opponents, and even then I'm still disgu- annoyed at how overpowered Snake is. "WHOOPS, didn't run away fast enough after attacking, instant invisible weapon forward-tilt to the face for 21% damage!"

I played against a guy once who didn't believe me that the game was unbalanced, so I picked Metaknight against him, even though I never use him out of principle. He couldn't even touch me. And I didn't even try. I just stood there and whenever he came close I did some move. Just some move. It's not like Metaknight has a whole lot of moves that aren't instant, cover a range the size of his own hitbox, have infinite priority and no cooldown -

Aaaauuugh, why do you have to make a Brawl thread! My doctor told me to abstain from thoooose!!

PS: "No projectiles" is not a weakness, just a lack of a strength. If that. Link and Samus have lots of projectiles!

Your post says 9:22 AM July 1, 2009 which is about the same it is in California so Pacific time?

It's one hour before Mountain Standard Time, so yes, I would assume Pacific Standard Time.

The server at least used to be in Palo Alto, CA, it's probably still there. Kind of odd considering neither admin even lives in the States (anymore).

ah. Being on the forums for a whopping two days so far I ran with the activity I saw yesterday, which was pretty high.

A bunch of posts while I was asleep.

Anyway:

• Meta Knight isn't banned in Italy. That's only a rumor.
• I'd rather contend with a spammy Meta Knight than a spammy Pit. At least Meta Knight spams close-range moves, so I can set up a defense as long as I keep him away. Pit does have a general blind spot, thank God, but it isn't even the least bit obvious because he has workable close range moves, and the blind spot is rather close to him, which means using a heavyweight is basically out because heavyweights are slow and big. I'd feel a lot better about the arrows if they were revamped so that they could be fired very quickly but didn't interrupt without enough chargeup.
• Having at least one projectile is standard. Granted, most projectiles can be easily dealt with alone, but they are an incentive to keep the opponent up close......come to think of it, I think what happens is that most people stumble upon Muscle Memory and act like they think Meta Knight has projectiles, not his approach moves. He doesn't have Captain Falcon's speed or power, so if you set up in a manner where you eliminate his priority as a factor, he shouldn't be able to live longer than you.
