I know I'm a minority on this, but I feel as though this place isn't all that great. But it seemed to have a good idea, which is why I stole some elements of it for the Fictional Character Containment Foundation. One of the things that annoys me is all the Data Expunged and spoilers in black font. It just seems weird that a group that seems tightly-knit would expell data out of their own records. Plus people sort these at random instead of following a line. That last one I tried to enforce with FCC identification numbers.

Yeah, but if you try to sort them somehow then you'll end up having to resort, and messing up all kinds of internal links.

If you don't like "data expunged" then I heartily recommend this. It's censored, but you can view the uncensored version once you've finished reading.

How do you figure? What I meant was that the first would be FCC-001 and people would follow that, another is that scensroing over other SPC numbers irks me, I like to think that these are added chronilogically, with the new data coming when new files are added. Foreshadowing works when everyone is in agreement of it.

What's the point of numbering chronologically? They could just check the wiki logs if they really needed to know what came first. And do you really think that you can get an entire wiki to agree on anything?

In any case, I think that the censoring SCP numbers thing is kind of a relic. I don't see it much any more. And they know what they're doing wrong.

Here's some Paranoia Fuel for ya. SCP 160 is a parasite that will rid you of your memories and turn you into a mindless slave with superhuman strength. What makes it especially scary? You might not notice it until it's too late.
It would be a lot easier for me if you imagine there's something funny or interesting here.

My main issue with "data expunged" is that it implies the data no longer exists. Expunged: to obliterate, to remove all traces of existence from a thing.

I think what they meant was "redacted," but even if this is the case, they wouldn't go and change everything. There's too many "data expunged" bits for that to make sense.

I love some of these. Like the Green Goo.

Whoa, that actually worked?

Well, hm, the infamous Green Goo.

Hm.

I suppose Zombie Apocalypse would be uncreative... maybe it makes the goddess of the underworld, Erishkigal, fall in love with corpse and no that's just disgusing.

Investigation Log of SCP 4444 noted that Dr Clef was accidentally transported into an alternate universe by one of the side-effects of the green goo touching a dead body.

As You Know, that's a non-canon parody of Gaia Online. Hilarious, of course.

Wait, is there even canon?

Why do I care?

I'm pretty sure most, if not all, SCP numbers in the thousands range are either jokes or likely to be deleted. I'm not sure how much that can be trusted as canon to the universe.

The green goo is probably capable of opening a path to the land of the dead, or something similar.

Well it would be minty fresh, that's all I know. Maybe every time it touches a dead body a new Keter scp is created.

I thought that was one of the SCP-001s job...

High-number SCPs being canon would mean that such ridiculous and impossible things as the Cannon for Firing Things Into the Sun, an EVA, and of course this are real. And that would be silly.
Yeah, after a point they are joke SC Ps.
