Video isn't showing up.
I fixed it, should work now. Just in case, here's the YT link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-UBfkUVGk4
Saving you having to listen to some youtuber,4chan feels their thing has been 'stolen' by Tumblr and they've decided to be extremely homophobic about it
edit:The guy is an alt right youtuber I wouldn't give him any of your views

New theme music also a boxI mean, it's really a matter of how much 4chan has changed, not a matter of SCP changing, isn't it? Like, SCP hasn't exactly stayed the same over the years, but that's more of a stylistic thing than a content thing. Whereas meanwhile the alt-right stole 4chan.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Staff had plans to create a new site called Project: Foundation that would have been separate from the Wikidot hosting site, which is notorious for problematic web code. However, due to reasons best not elaborated on here, plans fell through and they are still stuck on Wikidot.
Hmmm now I'm interested. What happened?
I got my political views from reddit and that's badA little googling gave me this starting point.
... Odd. Project: Foundation seems to be still active as of yesterday/today. I'm suspecting whoever wrote that entry is confusing PF with one of the older attempts to move the site.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I find it kind of curious that when it comes to Who Shot JFK?, they stick to the official story of a lone gunman. Sure there's weirdness and cover-up, but that's because of time travel trying to stop the assassination, not what led up to it. I'm convinced the only reason they went with the official story was because it'd be cliche for there to be some sort of conspircy
I just discovered SCP-3008: A Perfectly Normal, Regular Old IKEA.
Not only is the survivor's log hilarious in its own special, morbid way, but the title hints at the Foundation upper echelons having more humor than most people give them credit for.
You think there will ever be an SCP that points out, lampshades or deconstructs/reconstructs the series' Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy?

There's a shitload of meta SCPs out there. I'm pretty certain I've seen a few that're about how dark everything is
Also, remember that there is no canon outside of a few story groups and thus how grim things are isn't set in stone
That is also something that could be deconstructed, there being no canon
There used to be more comedy and sense of no being so serious but eventually it got remove and is refere now as "lolfundation" in part for being unprofesional.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Didn't the evil murder teddy bear come before the friendly surgeon teddy bear?
The trend with what I've read lately seems like it's been away from peak grimdark, and more toward deconstruction(/reconstruction), Mind Screw, and lore-heavy how-the-Foundation-and-other-GOIs-actually-work SCPs.

The trends have been, roughly: Whatever people came up with -> Serious horror -> Weird meta shit -> Character-focused stories
The evil teddy bear was indeed a deconstruction and take that to the tendecy of having little cute SCP laying around because....well, they used to have that a lot.
In my opinion that evil teddy wbear was a scary ass motherfucker.
And even between that there was some mini trend, the first one was just "creepasta" and it can be seen in how short the articles are or how unprofesional it was(check SCP-500 for example, one guy use a irreplacable panacea pill to cure a hangover), usually with funny stop and faliure being very gory or over the top or how the resercher were weird(kondraki who is crazy awsome, Bright who boby jump and is a sociopath, klain, etc).
Now it seen focus more in GOI and expand on it, and while one can said there is no canon, certain stuff crossover with other articles, a good example is 1000-SCP who devolpt a mythos of sorts.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"It was scary but I think it went way too far with the creating a teddybear out of a baby thing.
Oh yeah, Maybe but I think that was the "punchline" so to speak, specially te tale were te boy said "I have another teddy bear, it was made of daddy", it was a high vote SCP for that.
In fact what are your favorite aspect of SCP? in my case I cant hardly care about the fundation itself, I like other GOI, specially Sakarism and Mekhanism, I enjoy the wanderest library and Global colition ocult.
Also the idea that fundation universe is just one of many.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Probably the Flesh that Hates, it reminds me so much of Dead Space Necromorphs only worse in some ways.
Yeah, Sakarism is one of my favorite GOI because of it, they are alien and pretty fuck up and yep...intersting.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Well now there's a SCP doujin series called Oversimplified SCP which describe the SC Ps in a cute manga format.
Has a general founding date for the SCP Foundation ever been stated? I know Multiple-Choice Past is in effect, so I'm talking about the most common founding date
Usually ~1900 CE, give or take 20 or so years. Though very different dates also pop up, and it's occasionally suggested no one actually knows

So this video came out a couple days ago and there's been some drama in the SCP community related to it and the issues discussed within. Same dude did a follow-up livestream the next day which to my knowledge was flagged and taken down.
