Jorge tilted his head back to stare up at the ceiling.

"Could be the case, or it isn't. We may never know, but it never hurts to ponder, right?"

Jorge looked back down at the table. "Hrm," He grunted, turning to Gordon.

"Do you think there's a way to, er...'link' these universes? As in, getting them to become aware of each others' existence, and be able to communicate?"

If we can catch one of the... entities that brought us here, that may be a valuable asset in that endeavor.

"Well, I'm not sure about the universes created by our decisions, if they do truely exist," replied Gordon.

"However, I was part of a team working on teleportation. The resulting accident caused the teleportation of alien creatures from another dimension into my own. If things had been better..." Gordon's voice trailed off for a moment.

"If things had been better, maybe we could've used that interdimensional travel," finished Gordon, before reconsidering. "Ah, who am I kidding. That still would've drawn the Combine to us."

Narumi walked in on Gordan and Jorge's conversation. "Botched teleportion experiment? Monsters from another world? That reminds me of a story I once read." Narumi said.

-Mecha Sonic glomps Gordon-

Craft exited his room, relieved to find himself whole again.

"This is much better..."

Gordon froced his way out of the damned robot's grip.

"I'd shoot you, but your programming's so messed up that you'll probably do it on your own some day," he shot at the robot. In reality, the only reason he wasn't shooting the robot was because it had been established that they had to work together.

Once that was over, Gordon would cheerfully take an RPG to the bastard.

"What is everyone doing?" Craft wandered over to the others... it appeared they were maintaining their weaponry.

-Saren glances over at Craft, the omnitool buzzing quietly; he looks into the display; a plated eyebrow is raised-

No internal weapons' systems. You do have hydraulic boosters, though. Two hundred fifty micromissiles contained. How many have you fired off in your involvement here?

Craft paused as he ran an internal check.

"...50 missiles have been discharged - 27 hit their intended targets, 23 did not."

I see. Now, is your maximum complement two hundred fifty?

-The Turian peers over at his Sledgehammer round clip-

"Yes... however, I'm detecting a discrepancy. It appears that no matter how many times I fire, my ammunition counter never drops below its' maximum." Craft continued walking closer. "It's unlikely to be a bug."

-Saren opens the clip and peers in; the mandibles flare out, revealing his full set of fangs-

Prolonging the game. They don't want us to worry about ammunition, and put on a show at full blaze. Well, to the Inferno with you, we're still going to act as if this didn't apply. As some religious texts you apes still follow say, "He giveth, and he taketh away".

"I agree... they could revoke this at any time - probably at the worst moment, too." Craft grimaced.

-Eddie sits down, quietly tuning his guitar-

Kirby looked at his enormous mallet. "Boyo, boy boy boyooooo." <Same old, same old. Where's my Warpstar?>

"That's why we must make every shot count," Jorge said, having finished checking his weapon.

"I just realized that I'm not running out of ammo, either." He pauses to think.

"...Well, except for that one time during our first challenge. Guess I just felt the need to do so at the time."

"Hmmm... I wonder..."

Roach drew his pistol, and ejected the magazine. He then removed all the rounds from it, and slid it into the pouch on his vest. When he pulled it back out, it was fully loaded again.

"I guess we don't have to worry about running out then. At least for now."

Travis was leaning against a wall while everyone was checking their weapons, tossing the undeployed Blood Berry up and down. He knew his weapons were in top condition, as always, and power was never really an issue except in the middle of a battle when he needed to recharge.

Ravage eyed the humans with contempt. Ammo was hardly a concern for him, given that thus far he wasn't even able to transform and utilize his guns; besides which, their power was rechargeable and self-sustaining, so conserving ammunition wouldn't be a problem if—when—he broke through this administrative block.

-the Turian's eyes flicker from one corner of the room to another; the omnitool buzzes again-

Each of this group has spent at maximum an hour inside their quarters before moving out. Every time, I have been deposited onto a bed. Though I have yet to see your own chambers, I would predict a similar situation. Therefore, have any of you actually experienced a sleep cycle here?

Kirby looked around. "Boyo." <Nope. Definitely haven't fallen asleep. At least, not in Verona. Nor in the ocean. And definitely not in Halloweentown. Yup, I've definitely been awake this entire time...>
