A Game of Gods: A Multiversal Challenge

-Rocket shoes functional, mecha-hands operational, slightly larger than human artificial sack boy face realistic, all systems were functional for Yellow Mecha v.1-

"I AM A NO LONGER A SACKBOY...OR A SACKMAN, NAY! I AM A SACK-GOD!!!" Yellow yelled.

The room seemed modern, but there were some futuristic touches to it. Jorge was sitting on the foot of his bed. His machine gun was placed down beside him.

"Right...I know we haven't known each other for too long, but you've all done right by me so far. We all know that this," He explained, pointing at his helmet. "Is going to come off sooner or later. I don't like it, but that's just how it is...so I figured that I might as well show it now to the people I trust most around here, which is you four."

The Spartan brought his hands up to grasp his helmet. With a snap and a hiss, it slowly slid off, revealing Jorge's face◊. His beard was thick, his hair was buzzed close to his scalp, and a long, thin scar ran down his right eye, though the eye was undamaged. The Spartan looked just like any other human being, though it was clear that he was a seasoned veteran of war.

"My name," Jorge spoke. "My real name, is Jorge."

A look of surprise registered on Hahli's face as she stared at Jorge.

"You mean... that wasn't your true face?"

Jorge smirked. "Heh, hardly."

Craft nodded slowly as he unconciously ran a finger down his own scar.

"Jorge...? Nice name."

-a line of red energy crackles across Saren's face for a split-second-

Then we must find someone or something which can undo that programming. If it wasn't done for their amusement, then they must have done it because of fear.

"Well, I know you've already seen my face..." Hahli said, looking somewhat embarrased.

"I might not have a helmet to take off, but I think a reintroduction is in order," Gordon extended a hand to shake once more. It might seem a little silly, but it was more or less symbolic. Gordon hadn't really 'known' Jorge before he took his helmet off.

"I'm Gordon Freeman," he reintroduced himself.

Jorge raised a brow, a little confused by Gordon's reintroduction. However, he decided to roll with it, firmly grasping the physicist's hand and shaking it. "Okay...pleasure, Dr. Freeman."

He then looked at Hahli, tilting his head in a curious fashion. "What's wrong with your face? It may be alien to me, but it wasn't damaged or anything, was it?"

"Perhaps," Ravage conceded, a slow smile coming to his face. Yes...regardless of whether or not their captors had sealed his natural, robotic form out of fear or amusement, they would regret doing so once he'd obtained that administrative password and unlocked the blocks preventing him from transforming.

And, he mused, even if he couldn't find the password, he had been one of the best agents under Soundwave, the communications specialist of the Decepticons, before being upgraded into a Predacon. Cracking codes was Soundwave's specialty, and he had passed it on to all his cassettes; it would take some time, but sooner or later that password would be cracked wide open.

And then—then these aliens would regret imprisoning him here!

If Hahli was human, she'd be blushing copiously right now.

"N-no... it's just that... where I come from, it's quite embarrasing to not have your mask on your face..."

Cirno had no idea what was going on other then a bunch of people had split up into two groups and she wasn't invited. She shrugged and flew off on her own a bit and went into the room that always seems to change. She went to her own little corner and started to think. The area around her reflected that as it changed into a porch for an ornate wooden building. There were sliding paper doors and an offering box off to the side. On the porch were a couple of mats for people to sit on. Cirno went over to one and laid down on it, choosing instead to take a nap.

"Masks really mean a lot to your people, don't they?"

"Yes," said Hahli, her voice still quivering a little from Jorge's immodesty. "There are many different kinds of masks... each of them has a different power."

Ravage returned his gaze to Saren, nodding once. "Yes, you may be right. In any case, we shall find something capable of furnishing the necessary codes, and when we do, I shall rip them out of it."

The jaguar was not simply going to leave his fate up to chance, however; internally, he accessed his onboard computer. Command: run hacking subroutine on administrative password block.

In the jaguar's head, a cool, feminine voice responded. Acknowledged. Initializing hacking procedures now; process may take several planetary cycles.

Jorge noticed that Hahli didn't sound very comfortable right now. He couldn't understand why.

"They give you powers? So your mask gives you control over water? Hm." Jorge scratched his chin. "My mask doesn't give me any powers. It provides protection, and it allows me to be more aware of my surroundings, but that's it."

"No, my mask lets me duplicate the powers of animals," said Hahli. "Water control is innate, I can do that without my mask."

"LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL! And a bottle of win!!!!!" Yellow yelled, at this point he was quite literally just dicking around in his humanoid-sackboy-gundam suit.

"You can copy the powers of animals?" Jorge chuckled. "I wish my helmet gave me a power like that...you know, you're gifted, Hahli."

"Why, thank you," said Hahli, turning her head away a little bit. "I have to say, Jorge, you're a rather competent fighter yourself, even if your Kanohi doesn't give you powers."

There's another thing.

What will we do with the Spartan and the mask wearing synthetic? I believe that I can... influence the latter.

"Thank you. I..." He lowered his head a bit. "I've been fighting all my life. From my early childhood, I was literally raised to become the ultimate soldier. Before I came here, I was fighting an alien alliance known as the Covenant. They aimed to wipe out my species, and...they were succeeding."

"I am all too familiar with that," said Hahli. "You see, I didn't want to be a Toa... I was just happy recording stories until I travelled to a distant island... and ever since then my life has been nothing but fighting."

Yellow begins to laugh very loud in amazment that the suit functions properly,[1]

Jorge looked at her solemnly. "Hm...it seems that we're more alike than we thought."
