so, like what?
"zombie" lincoln?
"flaming" cthulhu?
"flying" rhino?
this could get interesting...

I ponder:
...so what do you get when you type in "sequel"?
Oh right, a working copy of Scribblenauts World Tour, obviously.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection!Ooh, ooh, ohh. "Miniature giant space hamster". Will it go for the eyes?
Jonah Falconwouldn't a miniature giant be regular sized?
I'm probably going to abuse the snot out of the color-based ones.
Mostly because I loved playing with the painbrush, but was depressed it only made things purple.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~Madrugada“Adjectives can change the colour, size, elements, behaviours and many other aspects of the object they are describing,” explained Warner Bros. “Multiple adjectives can be combined together to produce incredibly creative objects, allowing the player’s imagination to run wild for a truly unique and individualistic experience.”
YKTTW Salvage ListGreen Cthulu vs Red Cthulu.
Fight smart, not fair.I'm hoping for a "Super Einstein" or "Electric Werewolf"
Or maybe even...
A "Super Electric Werewolf Einstein"!
And maybe even a "Robot Ninja" or "Zombie Ninja".
Don't let your imaginations run wild, here. Considering the limitations of Objectnaut and what the announcement said, you'll probably only be able to change things like color, size, goodness/evilness, and the like. Anything beyond a Palette Swap would require drawing dozens of sprites for every object, which is...not likely to happen.

YKTTW Salvage List"Robot" could probably just apply an sprite filter.
"FRIENDLY" is an adjective. Very useful...
(Already I'm picturing Scribblenauts 3: Now with verbs!)
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?"Friendly X" would be a lot more efficient than using a Cupid Arrow on "X"
I have a message from another time...It's at least going to improve on the original's problems.
Also, the President's model has been changed for the sequel, I think you know his new model.
...Does anyone else how have a desire to give Obama a flaming chainsaw, a jetpack, and a monocle, and set him up against dragons and such?
I have a message from another time...They're also technically using sprites within a polygon-based framework (It's a Sprite/Polygon Mix we've all been fooled into thinking is just Sprites), so I imagine at least with appearance, they've got several tricks up their sleeve. Not to mention, stretching, skewing, and altering a game's drawing of even just one sprite is easier than it looks.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaThey'll also include Nouns that they missed in the first game, which includes people like Julius Caeser, Charles Darwin, and Socrates, they'll also include Growth Rays, what (Looks like) a walking house, and a horned monster (I found out in Nintendo Power). I just hope they include other Public Domain Characters, like Mr. Holmes and maybe a few fairy tale characters, I want to see the actual Little Red Riding Hood in the game... For reasons I don't know why.
Not that they'll do this, just that it would be nice.

I did get to play it at E3 '10. It was fun.
Jonah FalconWait, Scribblenauts is a Sprite/Polygon Mix? Huh.
...I cannot wait for Scribblenauts 3D.
Yeah, it's some trick they did. I forget exactly how it works, but they used trickery in couple places.
I'm pretty sure that the water is polygonal, though. Maybe...?
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaCorrecting title.
I need to pre-order this... and do so hope that "man-eating" is a valid adjective.

This post was thumped by the Eldritch Flyswatter of Horror
I made a scared purple Cthulhu, who ran away from an evil red puppy. A pregnant car gave birth to a tiny little car.
I didn't dare summon an Angry God, tho. ;)

Now with adjectives.
