Yeah, I was getting some serious Hato X Yajima vibes from this chapter. I find Yajima absolutely adorable.

Just curious, what were those costumes that were prepared for Hato? I only recognized the Maria+Holic one on the left (although, was the one on the right also one of Mariya's costumes at one point?). Ogiue cosplaying as Azusa was amusing though.

And the Nice Boat thing had me laughing. Why would they reference that at a time like this?

This chapter was fun, but I wish that we could maybe get a little more into the whole unresolved unrequited love Madarame has for Saki. I think we have been getting too much focus on Hato. I would love a Yoshitake-centric chapter.

IMO, the whole unresolved love thing was already done with on that Madaramex Saki chapter. I do agree with you that I would personally like to move on to other characters.

on this chapter; most of the reference just went over my head, and the only one I got was the PSG one. With that reference I wonder why can I easily imagine that Ohno would be that kind of person...>_>

The Sue and Yabu-senpai interactions was kinda amusing, and it seems that Ogiue is getting some fans already. Finally, lets start the DRAMA.

I have to admit, I lost track...it's been years since I read Genshiken series 1. Who is Nakajima again?

(And I burst out laughing at the PSG cosplay. Angela seems to be a little too...stacked for the role though.)

I totally wasn't expecting the PSG cosplay.

Nakajima was one of the girls in high school who set her up,encouraging her to draw real-person yaoi of a popular boy,then taking out the story they wrote and making out it was all Ogiue's idea.

Oh, forgot to mention though, but Hato running into problems with the queue at the toilet was indeed hilarious. Plus it seems that his female image is now so ingrained that it's even his reaction when surprised?

And I must say, although I don't recognize most of Ohno's cosplay outfits, the ones that I did catch certainly match her well. Both Stocking and Rider have long, dark hair and um...large tracts of land. (Did Angela have to wear a wig for the Stocking cosplay? I believe her normal hair length is shorter than that.) EDIT: Just recognized another one of her outfits, it was Tifa Lockhart. I don't play Final Fantasy, but I just recognized her...

Oh dammit I thought the new chapter was up!

It's been three weeks dammit, don't tell me all the scantalators stopped translating it!

Finally a new chapter!

A chapter titled "Mitsudomoe"? Seriously? (Although I guess the past few chapter titles have been references to other series too.) And I didn't notice until this chapter, but it seems Hato has been..."padding" more than usual for this cosplay.

Anyway, that was...interesting. Right now I'm not sure whether it's better for Nakajima and Ogiue to meet again or not. Did Ogiue ever find out what happened to Makita though, in the original series? I can't remember.

(Oh, also: Madarame has nice fingers? That never seemed particularly obvious...maybe Angela did confuse him with someone. (Who, though?) Although I was amused to see her love for glasses carry over to her friends, too.)

Mitsudomoe is a pre-existing thing, not just the name of a series. It's this symbol: [1], and supposedly represents a three-way battle.

Edit: I'm not saying it's not a reference, but it's not particularly more blatant.

This is only the second time I've seen rea-juu; the first was in Negima.

Nakajima throwing that out was a calculated attempt to ruin Ogiue, out of what seems pure jealousy. I am with Sue. Urge to kill Nakajima... rising...

That said,it's cool that Yakajima defused the situation and made N. eat crow just by recounting Ogiue's escapades, and then essentially saying, "I don't care about all that. I accept her".

Ogiue is so cute here. And Sue.

Backlog updated! Interesting, looks like we're in for some serious Madarame development. Madarame x Angela? Not sure if want. Although I suppose she might just be trying to pull him out of his (sort of) depression.

Also...OH HELL YEAH! I see "Kyouko" is still trolling "Sayaka". Angela as Mami was fitting though, for obvious reasons...though it means Ohno doesn't get a chance to display her "talent" for once. (Wait, does that mean Ohno originally wanted Hato to cosplay Madoka? o_0)

Oh, and the cross-dressing Kousaka strikes again! MOAR!
