The PM display says there's a PM from Aondeug, but when I click it goes to a PM from Glenn Magus Harvey about the Kiddy Grade sequel which doesn't make sense.

Should be fixed now. Against the odds, two messages received the same random id. With each id at 24 characters long, each digit selected from a 35 char set, this should be exceedingly rare.

Anyway, this is what collision tests are for, and unique indices. I never trust random chance to not screw up on me.

We seem to proportionately get a lot of collisions, really. The generator doesn't seem that random.

Pseudorandomness is a bitch. Too bad I don't know of an equivalent to Crypt::Random in PHP.

PHP has libc rand() and a Mersenne twister as mt_rand().
(Speaking of which, "Mersenne twister" is such a great name.)

Both of those are pseudorandom. Crypt::Random is a Perl module that allows for limited true random number generation, from non-deterministic input.

Oh look, it happened to me this time. Seems to be a collision problem between the PM IDs. The subject lines don't even match. It's kind of annoying having a PM notice in the green bar that I can't get rid of. I wouldn't mind knowing what was actually supposed to be sent.

Ok so melloncollie sent me and Tzetze pms. Problem is...I got the pm that was meant for Tzetze. Twice. They are under different titles, but are the same message.
Also the fora says that I have a new message when I don't.
