The Midwest is so big... I'm from Indiana and I think of the Midwest as including Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, and maybe Wisconsin.
It seems like all of "Flyover country" is represented in this thread.

I also think of Colorado, Wyoming, and a few other states containing the Rockies to be Midwestern, but that's an entirely separate (and more literal) midwest.
