Midwestern Tropers, UNITE!:

776 The Atroxious, Fri, 1st Apr '11 11:12:58 AM from Chicago, Illinois
I've always wanted to be a pony. Alas, my online avatar was destined to be a blue bald chick. Until TV Tropes gave her a dream makeover.

I'm touched. T.T

It's been all nice here in Chicago for once. But still cold and blustery, not weather to get excited about.

Shutup Hadri, you're not even in Chicago proper. XD

Edit: Holy crap, I'm Spiderman now?

Watchmen of the Apocalypse
theone: You are a mid westerner. Texas is part of the midwest :p The very southern end of it.
"Who watches the watchmen?"
Only if you count the midwest as the everything-in-between region of the US that runs between Ohio and South Dakota. I never really understood that.

And come on Trox, what kind of Norshore guy would I be if I didn't pretend to be from Chicago? We frequently forget we can't vote for mayor.

Game Master
Which is funny, considering one of the guys running for mayor went to my high school.

As did Donald Rumsfeld, despite being a born Evanstonian. So I'm glad we don't have to claim him.

Have gotten back from Anime Detour. Have a few pictures of the TV Tropes Will Ruin Your Life panel. Will share when film is developed.

Notably, this group of tropers much more camera shy than the Chicago meet up, with the exception of the panelists.
Hey, I'm from St. Louis. Well, the suburbs. In Illinois.
You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.
Oi. Me and Fi would love to meet up again soon, at least with the Chicagoans. I'll get at those of ya'll I already know later, but I suppose anyone else can come who wants to and go ahead and throw out ideas if you want and we can try to keep everything coordinated through this thread.

Funny, I was thinking about suggesting we get together, too. I'm kind of busy this week, but after that, it should be good.
well my weekends are always flexible. I'm blanking on actual stuff to do though.

787 Ajbcool, Mon, 11th Apr '11 7:59:23 PM from Here, obviously.
The Omnibot
Hmmm...if only I had a ride again.
788 The Atroxious, Tue, 12th Apr '11 10:02:29 AM from Chicago, Illinois
I find just wandering about can be entertaining. Especially if we went wandering around a particularly shifty neighborhood after 10 P.M.

...Only kidding. At least about the shifty neighborhood.

Uhh...we could set up a lemonade stand. XD

AJB, yeah, I don't have a car either. Don't usually need one seeing as I live in the city, but from time to time, it can be annoying.
789 Ajbcool, Tue, 12th Apr '11 10:27:37 AM from Here, obviously.
The Omnibot
Maybe you guys can come here! We have plenty to do!

Like....well....and.....uh....stuff! And parks!
Okay, obviously we should meet again. Thorn and Fiacha have both told me they like the Zoo idea: It's free, and open, and hopefully the weather will be good so we can wander and be a nuisance for cheap and a hopefully low probability of civilian injury.

As far as I'm concerned we can do this as soon as next Saturday, as long as enough people say they can come.

Otherwise, tell me when you think you'll be available, and I'll handle the details. I expect this will be mainly Chicago folks. But if you think you can make it, by all means do so!

Game Master
I believe that next Saturday will be a good time for me, where should we all meet?
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.
I was gonna google maps it up for a good location, I haven't been there for a couple years. Suggestions would help though.

I'm available most freely on Fridays, or after May 20th (as of now). However, I would need to find transportation.
794 The Atroxious, Mon, 18th Apr '11 9:49:30 PM from Chicago, Illinois
Lee says that he's available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1-10 P.M. this week.

He also said we should meet up in a sketchy neighborhood. But Lincoln Park Zoo is fine. XDD

So do they play In The End over and over at the zoo for the Emo wolves and hipster apes. :P
"Who watches the watchmen?"
Game Master
So funny I forgot to laugh.

I thought Brookfield was the free zoo?
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.
I don't have the means to get there in any case. Nope. Lincoln Park it is.

Come on lock on a groan worthy joke or tow followed by paper projectiles is always fun :P
"Who watches the watchmen?"
Game Master
Oaky did a bit of research, Lincoln Park Zoo is the free one, and the nearest trains station is Armitage on the purple and brown lines, so everyone plan accordingly. info here
