The Pokédex - Extended Fanon Edition:

I am now a shiny stone~
They are sukima in the Fourth Wall where Reality gets bent a little in non-dangerous ways.

Wanna talk about Gen 5 Pokemon in this Pokedex? I wonder if we should just clear out the first 493 pokemon before moving onto the Isshu pokedex.

We are waiting for the English release, at least.

I'm just wondering if there's an in-universe Pokéwalker device we can agree on. Last attempt didn't quite pan out, obviously.

Technically it's a Fanon Discontinuity...

There are a few trainers in Heart Gold and Soul Silver who mention using Pokewalkers, particularly in the National Park. At the same time, there have always been characters who appear in the games who mention using whatever system the game is released on to trade Pokemon with others. It's debatable whether or not these characters are meant to be a normal part of the Pokemon world (suggesting that people in the Pokemon world use Gameboys for trading and that Pokewalkers are possibly special Pokeballs) or if they are only there to tell the person playing the game in the real world about Pokewalkers or about how they can trade with others. I have not seen the anime stories inspired by the HG/SS games, so I don't know if Pokewalkers were ever mentioned in the anime. I don't ever remember them using Gameboys (or a similar handheld game) to trade, though.

So Pokewalkers will only exist in universe then. Fine.

^ The problem is, do they exist as run-of-the mill toys like RL Pokewalkers, or are they something more?

They are the Tamagotchi of their world. Nothing else.

Or we could have them be actual Pokewalkers, another way for trainers to train their Pokemon when they don't want to battle.

Or, maybe assume the Pokémon is not actually inside the walker when you walk.

I mean, read the descriptions every time you return- how does my Ditto go running up ahead not realizing the distance if it's crammed in my pedometer?

Silent Reverence, these madmen continue to babble about something they call a "Pokewalker." Ready the lobotomy tools.

Hmm. Well just have in universe Pokewalkers (as toys or whatever) and think nothing more of it.

Why don't we all just skip this one?

The Pokéwalker is nothing more than a metaphysical analogy of walking alongside your Pokémon in the real world, where Pokémon don't exist.

But I'm going with the Tamagotchi thing too.

We haven't talked much of the Pokéathlon much have we? Why not cover that up in the while?

So are we gonna cover other things like berries?

I think I might take Luvdisc (And maybe in the future Mamanbou since it was a Missed Moment of Awesome related to Luvdisc.)

well fist, make sure someone else hasn't already done said pokemon. tongue Next, as Marioguy said, you might want to look at some of the other entries, specifically entries for pokemon that are the same type as the one you want to do, as types seem to share some similarities. Then, well, post it and we critique it!

Obviously, the Pokewalker is designed to compress the Pokemon into data so that it can fight off computer viruses for you. That's how it gets EXP.

No. Your Pokémon gets experience by living the real world, with real stuff like predators, chicks, spicy berries, Pokérus and the like.
