I wonder if the Lilipup article should have a reference to 101 Dalmations as well as the others... and Lady And The Tramp definitely seems like it involves a pair of Herdier.

I don't think Lilipup counts for 101 Dalmations seeing as how they're not based on Dalmations

Lady and the Tramp might work. But it would only involve one Lilipup and another dog-formed Pokemon.

[up]

Perhaps a female Growlithe and a Mightyena? There's a already a dog in Lady and the Tramp that's a side character and would be something like a Herdier.

Upload it onto the link I gave you, then post the resulting URL.

Or post a link to an image on a different site.

Is that specifically for this thread?

If not, then how would you post pictures in other threads?

Well... Whatever. My point is, there's already a Terrier in Lady and the Tramp. x/

I posted a potential logo a couple months back. I can link to the pic again if you want.

I was surprised too. I'll make a template for abilities and post it for review before I start on scrappy.

I was wondering what everyone's opinion of the recently announced Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 and Kyurems two new forms.

I don't think it's much of a surprise that the two formes are distinctly linked to Reshiram and Zekrom, especially given the existence of two certain moves in the game data (Freeze Shock and Ice Burn). Kyurem's always had a sort of... incomplete look about it. The new formes essentially being fusions of Kyurem and the other legendary seem appropriate.

Yeah not that big a surprise they gave him alt forms based on the other two. I like how rather than looking like a melding of Kyurem and the other dragon they look some mad scientist has taken different parts from the two dragons and stuck them together.

Below is the template I made for ability articles with descriptions of the sort of information that will be put under each heading. If you think anything should be changed, removed or added let me know and I'll review it and see about changing it.

Ability Name

Description of effect

A quick description of ability similar to what we get in game.

Physiological Response- Biological

How, if at all, this ability affects the Pokémon’s biological make up.

Physiological Response- Physical

How, if at all, this ability affects the Pokémon’s physical appearance.

Psychological Response

How, if at all, this ability affects the Pokémon’s mental processes or abilities.

In battle Response

How this ability takes effect in battle.

Environmental Response

How this ability takes effect outside of battle.

Further Research

Research being conducted into this ability

Pokémon with this ability

Some Pokémon with this ability possibly linking to their articles.

"Biological effect" and "Physical effect" are redundant. I personally separate the effects in physiological and psychological. Beyond that, I like it.

Yeah i thought of doing that but i decided on Biological and physical due to the fact that some abilities like intimidate would have an effect on a Pokemon's outward apperance and some like lightning rod would only effect the Pokemon's biological make up so i decided to divide physiological into those two categories. Though we could use physical and biological as sub headings under the main heading of physiological.

From a Wurmple.

If you mean the whole thing about draining other creatures's fluids, there is such things as bloodeater butterflies and moths. There is also a relatively newly discovered species, something Madrileña, with a behaviour very similar to the Pokédex states for Beautifly. It's mostly a "reality surpasses fiction" kind of stuff, really.

I think have relevant links at Pokéteca, since I did the corresponding research for the Encyclopedia, but the site is down ATM.

It's pokedex entry in Fire red and leaf green. They read "Despite its appearance, it has an aggressive nature. It attacks by jabbing with its long, thin mouth." And in Platinum "Despite its looks, it is aggressive. It jabs with its long, thin mouth if disturbed while collecting pollen."
