Just read this week's chapter. So they all became Sealed in a Person-Shaped Can to prevent them from becoming dragons like Acnologia, who can probably fight again now that the faces aren't working as I believe he's still affected by that. Then Zeref shows up at the end.

Well, at least we know why they were hiding inside them; to prevent another Acnologia.

I still find Acnologia's personality hard to understand. He considers humans filth as if he's become something better, but he still hates dragons and it doesn't seem like he regards them any higher than humans. And despite this hatred of dragons he still likes calling himself the dragon king.
It could just be to show us he's crazy but it still comes off as strange to me.

That makes no sense if Igneel was inside Natsu to keep him from being a dragon surely he would know if Zeref could turn him into a demon.
Natsu's scarf will be of importance. And so it was fortold...I suck at fortelling but I think it will play a pivotal role in pissing me off, sure hope not. I started this from the anime till episode 175, but they once showed Igneel talking to some sparkly thingy in a place full of lava. Not sure if it was in the manga but would that mean he was talking telepathically to another dragon and Natsu's body is made of lava or something. Or was he in a dimesion within Natsu's body or did he make a dimesion within Natsu to another dimension.

The current arc is not the last, but the next will probably be and it will probably begin soon (at worst after a mini Breather Arc).
