i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartTopless snuggling, then. I'm oddly more okay with that. Huh.
Oh God! Natural light! In fairness, Mega Flare is super easy to meld if you know what you're doing.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.aaaaaaaaaa nooooooo i was so close to beating armor of eraqus D:
the fight is way awesome though like woa
and its different for each character, right? that'll be fun, then
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartSince this is slipping down, time for some Random Speculation!
Namine will take a level in badass.
please call me "XionKuriyama" or some variation, thanks! | What is the good deed that you can do right now?She will turn her keyblade into chains (keychains perhaps) and use them as her main weapon.
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartShe doesn't have one, though. It stands to reason she can.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Well, I mean.
If Roxas can wield a keyblade, so should Namine, right?
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartAnd Xemnas.
Yeah him too.
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartI highly doubt that Naminé will get a keyblade in Kingdom Hearts III unless Nomura wants to use it as one of his trademark-shocking-twists. Up until now Naminé has never, unlike Kairi, shown or expressed a desire to fight or become more proactive. Aside from that, I believe if they wanted Naminé to be to Kairi what Roxas is to Sora they would have given her a keyblade when Kairi got one in Kingdom Hearts II.
Check out my YouTube-channel, if you wantWell, first thing we have to see about finding some way to get Roxas and Namine (AND XION FOR THE LOVE OF GOD) to be their own people. Then we can see about them Keyblades.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Can't they just smile after being remembered and thank everyone before fading. I think I'd prefer that.
I still don't get why Naminé has to be her own person. I mean, okay... I still maintain that "putting an end to their hurt" extracting Roxas and Xion from Sora is a stupid retcon, an unnecessary Happy Ending Override in Roxas's case and wimping out on a very effective tragedy in Xion's case, and some awful thematically contradictory flip-flopping and backtracking on Nomura's part... but. At least the prospect of returning makes some sense from the motivations of those characters. We know that Roxas at least wasn't initially accepting of becoming one with Sora, and Xion was forced to.
But why Naminé? Unless I misunderstood something, Naminé was never forced to join up with Kairi. She chose to. She was pretty insistent that she wouldn't disappear, and would still live in Kairi — something that's clearly shown to be true in the game's ending, when we see Kairi as Naminé, smiling to Sora/Roxas! So what's this nonsense in coded, where Data-Naminé says Sora that "the real me doesn't exist any more", and says Sora must put an end to her hurt? How blatantly can you contradict yourself! And if that's how the real Naminé felt when she composed that message, then why did she let herself combine with Kairi in the first place?!

I mean, it seems like.
Like Namine started to fade when she took Kairi's hand in that dungeon.
She wanted to save Kairi, and that was the only way, but. It wasn't 100% a choice.
I'd like to see Xion and Roxas show up and defend... let's say Riku... during some sort of Battle In The Center Of The Heart sequence in III.
Like, say it's after everyone merges into the Χ-Blade, and Riku leaves his body to dive into Master Xehanort's heart to retrieve Terra's. Sora steps up to defend Riku against like 4 Xehaorts, and suddenly 2 cloaked figures, one wielding Oathkeeper and the other Oblivion, block a massive attack aimed at Sora, and join the battle.
I have a message from another time...Don't forget Ventus!
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.That "you may not know it's me and I may not know it's you" speech to Roxas at the beginning of the game sure makes it sound like she anticipated joining up with Kairi way earlier than that.
And... if she didn't really want to merge with Kairi, and just felt she had to in order to save Kairi from her jail cell, then Naminé is an idiot, seeing as how there was no need for her personally do that at all. All she did was open a dark corridor in there, something that Riku could have done just as easily. If anything, the circumstances point more to Naminé personally doing that because she wanted to join with Kairi.

It's also entirely possible that she didn't want to, but she felt she had to. Namine, at least in COM, had no small amount of self-loathing. And Roxas spent all of Days and the KHII prologue wanting to be his own person, but 3D has Sora having to tell him not to resign himself to just being Sora's heart flatmate number four.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.If she had felt that way, she would not have composed a message in Jiminy's journal beforehand asking, among other things, for Sora to "put an end to her hurt".
And, well... the way they posited it in KHII did not seem to be Roxas being Sora's "heart flatmate" the way they showed it in 3D. Because, as they kept hammering in in that game (even as late as in the Final Mix cuscenes), Roxas is Sora, rather than a separate entity living in his heart, like Ventus. So, by that game's logic, it seemed less a case of Roxas being trapped in Sora, and more just a case of him being, and having always been, Sora.
I know the current rationalisation for him not being Sora is that he doesn't have Sora's memories, but I still find that dubious for a variety of reasons.
Like... if Lea and Axel are the same entity because Axel's got Lea's memories, but Sora and Roxas supposedly aren't because Roxas didn't start with any memories... that still implies that they came into existence with a separate consciousness from their original selves, and have to have the memories transferred over. So why would that apply to Sora, but not to Lea and the other Organizers?
I mean, by this logic Lea is not so much a regenerated Axel as much as a Replacement Goldfish with an identical, but not the same, consciousness.
