I just want Kingdom Hearts III. And a lot of the gameplay improvements from Kingdom Hearts II. It felt like a more even experience to me, even if the story dipped a bit.

Oh, and more Maleficent. Damn, but she was always my favorite Disney villain. She got totally underused in the second game.

I'd like the Fan Dumb to go away, but that could be said for pretty much every game I like

It's been my experience that nothing kills your appetite for a game faster than visiting its given section/message board on a site like Fanfiction.net or Game FA Qs.

Therefore, if I really enjoy the game, I try and avoid those places as much as I can. If I really like the game, though, I end up becoming one of them...>__>

My favorite part about your trailer is when Donald's Blizzard spell ricochets right back into him.

While we're on the topic of old trailers that show things not in the actual game, here's one for the first Kingdom Hearts.

Wow, that actually looks way more fucking awesome than what we got. The graphics have kind of Narm Charm to them though.

And I've never seen Starbound's before. That was really intruiging. The game looked so much... emptier back then. And if you thought KHI's camera was awkward...

And Disney castle appears to have been playable in that version, too. (and I know it was in Final Mix) I'm getting nostalgic for the first Kingdom Hearts now.

Um. . . aside from A: the Organization being moved from Hollow Bastion proper to the bailey and cutting out the accompanying fight scene and B: Donald freezing himself with his own spell, there was literally nothing in that trailer that didn't appear in-game.

Anyway, as for worries about KHIII focusing on the Organization, it's probably not likely. Remember how all of them (except Roxas. Kinda.) got offed by the end of II? Xehanort's probably gonna make an appearance in some form, but the Organization's pretty much finished.

Except for the fact that Square Enix knows they're what draws the fangirls in.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I fully expect at least a couple of Somebodies to show up at some point (Like Not-Vexen, Not-Xaldin, and Not-Lexaeus in BBS). I just don't see how they'd be prominent movers and shakers without being shoe-horned in.

. . . Which doesn't really mean much, but still.

So? What draws fangirls in is bishonen. Doesn't have to be O13 to do that.

If you're looking for more Disney and less Organization, probably not. There's very little of the former group and quite a bit of the latter group.

If you do decide to go for it, I'd suggest trying to track down Re:Co M. I found it to be a lot more playable, personally.

Am I just the only person that doesn't give a rat's ass about Organization XIII or not?

Seriously, just because a certain faction of the fanbase thinks they should by "Orgy 13" doesn't invalidate the entirety of their concept. I'd like to see more of their story because the entire concept of Nobodies and who they used to be and why they apparently can't be repaired is left in the air.

Honestly, I think the Hatedom is way worse than a bunch of fangirls.

Here's a new one - why are fan girls the end of the universe and things they like a pox on all mankind, while works with fanboys are okay? Discuss.

Point to consider: isn't Birth By Sleep technically a Prequel? Therefore at least some of the Organization members could be around.

I want pretty much the same things from this game as most of the other commenters: return the Disney elements to relevance and restore the level design to the quality in the first game or better.

I have no strong opinions on Organization XIII one way or the other. They're decent enough baddies, even if they were sort of unexpected in the overall mythos.

I will say, however, that Days made me like Axel a whole lot more than I ever thought I would.

EDIT for ninja: I'd be cool with a return to KHI level design, but only if the platforming is actually fun, and a single fall doesn't cost you twenty minutes worth of climbing back up and trying again. That's the big thing that annoyed me about KHI. Also, more coherent level design. Everything seemed to connect every which way, no matter what world you happened to be in.

And yes, definitely more relevant Disney worlds. I'm cool with the original Kingdom Hearts characters taking center stage, but at least give me a reason for going to all these different Disney worlds. Luckily, it looks like BBS is going to fix this, at least somewhat.

Indeed. The original Co M was a great game in it's own right, but RE: just makes it pretty much obsolete. That and the fact that the original is fairly rare nowadays.

Skies of Arcadia is probably my favorite game ever. I know that objectively there are better games out there, but none of them bring me quite so much enjoyment as So A.

But that's pretty far off-topic, so I'll leave it at that.

Last time I checked, everybody hated fanboys.

Both are pretty hated. But fanboys are only recognized as being idiots, fangirls are recognized as being more.... perverted.

I wouldn't mind the Org. XIII so much if they weren't Nobodies. Those things caused plot holes up the wazoo.
