Troper Updates II, Part II

I hope they have a lot of fun. :)

There's something I should get off my chest. I've been having this idea on my mind a lot lately. I'm wondering if I should invite my friend Max to TV Tropes. On the one hand, it would be very cool to make him a fellow member of my most favorite group of friends; the more the merrier, as they say. :) On the other hand, I've mentioned him here so many times, I can't help but wonder if I've accidentally made him the TV Tropes equivalent of Bob Sacomano. ^_^;;

No harm in trying, I suppose. I got here on an absolute whim.

Be careful though, TVTropes might ruin his life.

In class again after a cracker of a weekend. Went a few towns over for mother's day dinner last Friday, then went to an 18th birthday party the next night (Australian drinking age, it was for a friend's sister).

Gonna go out to eat on Thursday. A local pub makes a burger with garlic aioli all over it, and itls on special for $15 on Thursdays. I'm sitting here with my mouth watering as my teacher tries to get everyone into the new computer system.

Some more good news for the day. Not only am I emotionally feeling a lot better today, that ingrown toenail I was dealing with has completely healed.

So today marks the final 48 hours of high school! Then summer time! Yipee!

"The Mountain Goats" are actually a thing? I just thought they were a made up band for the Night Vale Presents Podcast I Only Listen to the Mountain Goats.

That said, looking at the trope page for Night Vale Presents does call it a non fiction podcast. Maybe I was mixing it up with It Makes A Sound

Well this is it guys, I've had my last day of high school. (Sighs)

Sweet merciful zombie Jesus, I finally installed my new ceiling light.

I'm feeling very accomplished, now that I watched the series finale of Once Upon a Time.

Going to Comic Con tomorrow! Got my cosplay ready. Got everything else I need ready. Lots of famous people are going to be there tomorrow, including the voice actor of one of my favorite characters, I'm trying not to get my hopes up but part of me is crossing my fingers for an autograph from them.

And sis is stuck in Vegas on the way back from the honeymoon. Apparently her father-in-law let them use the car with the massive oil leak to go to and from California.

I'm going to try and get to my Excel assessment by the end of the week. I feel really tired and crummy this morning, so I don't think today will be greatly productive - I'm gonna try and do 50 pages throughout the day.

I just feel kind of down, I drank too much on the weekend and I'm just in the mindset of me being a horrible person. It'll pass, but I'll be damned if it isn't super distracting right now.

It's been about 3 months since I got a job, and also about 3 months since I graduated, and I still don't have the foggiest idea where I'm going with my life. Also, I hit a roadblock with my short fic, and I'm not even done with 1/5 of it, haven't got any answer in worldbuilding about whether I should continue with it.

I know how you feel. I've been taking a gap year after graduating high school last year, but I still don't have a college plan set in stone.

I finally had a dinner that was five years in the making. :)

I got a chance to dispel some stuff that yesterday's "I'm a bad person" phase stemmed from. I had a good lunchtime chat with two of my classmates, and it's really helped.

Now I have to stomach the rest of this mind-numbing Excel course. At least I feel a bit better now.

I cooked a dinner that was so good that when I finished eating it, I was so relaxed I felt like I couldn't move. ^_^;;

Sounds like when my father sits quietly and appreciates the meal he's just had and the satisfied feeling of having it in his stomach, which he calls "enjoying my dinner".

I hope I'm not Tempting Fate when I say this, but this day of work on Memorial Day is actually going a lot better than last year's. :)

Another update: Well okay, maybe I tempted fate a little. This year's working on Memorial Day may have been better than last year's, but I'm still exhausted from working all eight hours of it. I can feel it in my bones and joints. x_x

The Mcdonald's next door to my workplace did a big computer update last week that they had to close overnight to work on, and ever since, my phone's been able to get on their wifi from where it stays in the shop. I'm expecting a much smaller wireless bill this month.

I sprained my ankle this last weekend, got back into Breath of the Wild way too hard and had a lot of trouble sleeping last night. I already would have been tired because of how long I was playing Zelda, but I couldn't fall asleep for three hours after I stopped playing.

On the upside, it's been great to revisit Bot W again. What an amazing game.
