The ones locked in the circle of cards?
Except that in the first panel, the guy they're trying to fight is apparently in the circle with them.
Reaction Image RepositoryNo, it's a completely different guy.
...with the exact same costume...
I have a message from another time...I suppose that is kinda visually confusing.
Maybe some compilation of these.
I'm not sure what's happening.
Apparently Mickey is locked out.
There's little that makes you pay attention to that part though...
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits. They start to go through the door. The others are locked out. The four remaining fight.
Hence why I wanted us to maybe just go with a couple, not all of them.
I definitely remember one boss fight where Donald, trying to run in, crashes into the magic boss fight forcefield.
Unfortunately I don't remember which one it was. I think it was the hexagon type of forcefield from II though.
I'm convinced that our modern day analogues to ancient scholars are comedians. -0dd1Ahh man, I wish I could find some pictures or even the episode itself online.
In Teen Titans, one episode called "Only Human" involved all of the Titans except Cyborg being captured by a villain named Atlas and kept as trophies inside unbreakable bubbles. When Cyborg finally arrives to deal with Atlas, the other Titans cheer him on, while still trying to find a way out in order to join the fight.
Dangit, if only I could find that episode...

Truly, if only there had been a nice shot of Qui-Gonn and Maul engaged, with Obi-Wan behind one of the forcefields...
That said, the shot Rodney found in Post #11 works well enough for me. I'll admit, the pink aura is a little hard to make out as a forcefield if you don't know it beforehand, but I think Star Wars (even The Phantom Menace) has enough cultural penetration that most everyone will get it...

Just a suggestion - some people said that one of the frame from the Darths and Droid comic would be perfect if it didn,t have text. the people who make this comic are pretty big fan of TV Tropes- they quote from it regularly. Why not just ask them if they still have that screencap textless soemwhere?
That's...a really good idea, actually.
Rhymes with "Protracted."The creator is actually a Troper as I recall.
Fight smart, not fair."Truly, if only there had been a nice shot of Qui-Gonn and Maul engaged" - Ferrard
Engaged? Very poor choice of words.
In all seriousness, I agree that the one Rodney posted is pretty good.

Haha - touche, neoYTPism =)
A'right, so the Star Wars-inclined among us appear to be leaning towards: 1) Asking the friendly folks at Darths & Droids for the large panel on row 3 of Strip 172 2) Using Rodney's picture from post #11
I'm thinking Option #1, that way we can also get DMM and other's opinions on it.

What about combining the pics from posts 11 and 17?
Eh, I think we can do with only the first two panels. The third doesn't seem to add much.
I'm convinced that our modern day analogues to ancient scholars are comedians. -0dd1That's the "fight" part.
Fight smart, not fair. The unfortunate problem being the fight bit is kinda tiny yet distant. Might well be better with a closeup for the third from the same perspective since the first two set the scene.

I don't know where y'all are getting "tiny", it seems perfectly obvious to me.
Yeah, but without the third panel, it just says "locked out."
If it's still full sized, you could crop some of the sides off of the last panel.
Fight smart, not fair.
^ who's being locked out there?
