Glee:

13201 The Handle, Thu, 24th May '12 6:04:41 AM from Location, Location, Loca
I absolutely loved Goodbye. Wonderfully conclusive, closed all character arcs that needed to be closed, was mature and intelligent and the drama was actually born of common sense and self-esteem overcoming irrationality and weakness and flaws. It was beautiful. In a way, the three seasons were really one. Now is when the true new story begins.

Although honestly I'd like them to change premise completely. Why not write a story about a school in a Los Angeles ghetto, or in the impoverished parts of Manhattan, or on the jazzy crime-ridden scenes of DC or New Orleans?

Because they still need to use their underclassmen.

And the winners of the Glee Project.

Fabulous
Maybe when and if they start doing spin-offs they can do them like the CS Is; same premise and universe but set in a different location.

And then all three will meet at nationals at some point for the super 3-hour ultra finale.

Is there any particular reason why Mark and Lea aren't in the videos? I find it sort of strange.

Maybe they were recording Props and Puck was doing his scenes.

And Rachel's always got something to do.

Any one else think that they are going to kill of Emma Pillsbury?

Nnnnnno. That'd be evil. Plus she still has to get married.

Also! I had a dream...that I was in New Directions. O_O

Will said he was about to teach his "final lesson" (which he already said in-show, but my dream wanted him to say it again), and it was going to be our group shot for the yearbook.

I was on the back cause I'm always tallest. ;p Also, weirder still, my old high-school choir teacher was there too, but none of my choir. :/ He was standing next to Will.

So now I'm imagining a crossover of my life with Glee and it is...intriguing. [lol]

Nah. They won't kill off Emma. If they were to kill off any of the main characters it'd probably be Finn.

I watched the finally and... and... I never felt so neutral about anything, like, it is not in "I don't care sense", because there is annoyance involved, I just, don't feel.

Let it sync in Blue. You'll know in time.

@ Bluelantern: I... kind of agree with you. The whole thing was just kind of all right. Finn letting Rachel go alone to NY crushed me, though. sad

One thing I'm disappointed in is that they didn't revisit Karofsky before the end of the season. Did he recover? Is he still going to stay at McKinley?

Currently I am more emotionally invested in finding a good Sartie fanfic.

EDIT:[up] So true, I am curious about him, and even a little about Sebastian at this point I wouldn't be surprised if he joined glee club as well u.u

Advice, watch the finale before Nationals. It works better that way.

I had a dream last night where Glee took place in a magical land. The setting was just as modern as a 1st-world country on Earth, but everybody was some sort of magical creature. Most of the Trouble Tones were witches (so, by extension, I'm assuming most of the cheerios are witches).

I'd like to expand on this idea.

I'm thinking it's a Fantasy Kitchen Sink, with the various species including things like dwarfs, elves, hobbits, witches, wizards, vampires and werewolves. Somehow, I got the idea there is a lot of racial tension between all the different species in Lima, and the Glee club is one of the few safehavens of acceptance in all McKinley. In the New Directions, it doesn't matter if you're black, white, gay, straight, elf or dwarf. All that matters is that you love to perform.

I think Finn would be a Frankenstein's Monster, Tina would be a vampire, Rachel would be a dwarf and the Unholy Trinity would all be witches. Blaine might be either a hobbit or a wizard. No clue about everyone else yet. Maybe Sugar is a fairy or a pixie or something.

I had a weird dream involving radio waves and some sort of alien conspiracy to murder people. Ponies might have been involved, but I'm not sure.

On the rare occasions I do dream, I'm unable to piece them together. Maybe it's because I can't logically piece things together when they came from a realm where things never have to make sense. So it's like some sort of retroactive Weirdness Censor.
Just set it in Discworld, then.

Oooooh. Rachel as a Dwarf works even better. And Kurt is a female Dwarf who actually acts feminine. Ooooh, this is awesome.

[up]Don't say that, you'll make Morpheus feel he's being sloppy...

[up][up]I usually have that problem, too, but last night's dream was actually somewhat coherent in that it stayed in the same little world the whole time.

[up]I've never read that series, I must admit...

[up][up]It's funny you mentioned that, I just read volume 7 of The Sandman. Great comic. Ordered volume 8 just a while ago.

I'm toying with the idea that in this fantasy-Glee setting, "bitch" is really a racial slur, because it's a contraction of "bad witch" and witches are stereotyped as cruel. Most people don't really think about what they're saying when they call a mean girl a "bitch" in that world, but a lot of witches still find it hurtful. It's kind of like how a lot of kids say "gay" as a synonym for "lame".

Is that too corny, or just corny enough?

And "lame" is really just a synonym for "uncool", since it used to effectively mean handicapped. ;p

That was a while ago, though... the "bitch"/"bad witch" thing would be a recent enough linguistic development to still be painful.
