Well, this is a relatively recent manga that I enjoy. I don't read manga that often, but this story has managed to hook me. I guess I just like not-always-sane plot characters. Anyone here read this manga and would like to remark on it?

Meeeee! I'm currently reading it, and it's really interesting. funny thing is, seine looks like karin (they share the same creator) but is completely different in character. there's also this spiral of revenge developing as well as the mysteries around tatsuya's parents' deaths and his mom's identity. also interesting for the rather subtle harem plot, they can spice things up a little.

I stumbled across a few chapters ages back, with a really, really choppy translation (to be fair, it was one guy using a handbook to translate).

It was.. weird.. Like H.P Lovecraft mythos meets shonen manga. Fairly interesting though.

Sorry, for bumping an old thread but I figured it was better to do this than make another thread. This is one of my favorite manga series. I also just made a page for Hekikai No Aion.

Yes, it should have an anime by now. I've noticed there a few characters, like Seine and Yoshiyuki appear to be expies of the ones from Karin.

There is a crossover with Karin The twins go and visit Karin who is apparently pregnant with the reincarnation of their sister

I haven't read Karin for myself but from what I understand Karin has been married less than a year and Karin's sister was very surprised that she was pregnant so it looks like Kanon may very well be the reincarnation of Psyche

Yeah possibly, but considering in the epilogue of the Karin Kanon was reincarnation of the first bloodmaker vampire. So what do you like best about Hekikai no Ai ON?

I have always liked the idea of evil mermaids and Seine is cool but what I like best has to be the twins who are just brilliant.

Newest chapters are out now that the hiatus has ended. And all I can is wow. What the hell? That face looks way too tiny for someone that tall. I liked him better when he was short.

Cool new chapters but it is a shame the twins aren't in it again yet. More hints that the main guy's mother may have been a mermaid as well.

[up]Yeah, although it's mostly edited by me and you, it's growing fast. We should have a character sheet by now and move most of them to the character sheet. I can make one like tomorrow if I have the time.

Made it! It's here. I know it's barebones but I gotta go to bed it's past midnight here. I'll work on the character descriptions when I'm done with school work.
