I think Int is more representative of your capacity to learn, not your total intellect.
See the fact you can have high skills and low int.
I think SPECIAL should be taken somewhat arbitrarily: the skill ultimately can be mastered even if your stat wasn't up to par. If it wouldn't, Charisma would contend with Intelligence for the best stat in the game, what's with Speech and, less so, Barter.
How do lizards fly?Really? I have always found those skills useless since actually doing the quest results in way more XP.
Or you can just you know.... shoot the problem.

Diplomacy by gun barrel.
Who watches the watchmen?Exactly.
Although in my case it is more focusing lens.
Laser Diplomacy is just shining a brighter light on the process. I prefer my 671 grains of diplomacy at a few hundred yards out.

Who watches the watchmen? How is Speech/Barter not able to help you with that?
You can get out more caps and/or avoid going a long way around with these. Shooting a problem is a solution, but sometimes - say, Come Fly With Me - it might be easier to just pass a Speech check.
How do lizards fly?Not necessarily. You can avoid going the long way around by shooting something. If it is dead it doesn't have to be avoided. There is plenty of profit to be made by shooting something and looting the remains. :D

Who watches the watchmen? So any idea how rare the Firelance in FO3 is? I ask because I'd never heard of it. I started a new playthrough, went to the Super-Duper Mart, and next thing I know a Raider is shooting it at me.
I didn't even know that was a thing.

Not dead, just feeling like it.Random event, most powerfull gun in the game, can kill any thing in one shot.
Only 120 bullets in the game though.

Are you sure it is the fire lance? It is a rare exterior encounter unless you have some sort of mod that alters that.
Who watches the watchmen?Really?
I alsmost always get it within 2-4 hours into the game.
Then agian I know to watch for the explosion, I wonder how many people miss that and never find the gun as such.
You must have the devils luck or just travel in the right spots. I have only ever seen the explosion once or twice in all my FO 3 play throughs.
Who watches the watchmen?...
What? ._.
Er, I know FO 3 had some random events and it's been a while since I've played the game proper, but... Firelance?
How do lizards fly? Here's how you get the thing, or at least the page that shows you what the thing is and how best to acquire it:

I prefer boolet.
This mod seems pretty rad. It adds floating damage numbers, and healthbars to enemies.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I saw that earlier on when I went browsing the Nexus. It looks interesting but I'm holding off on it for now.
Yeah, I'm waiting until they add the configuration menu in.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."So I encountered an odd bug in my Fallout 3. After playing for far longer in one sitting than is healthy, my loading screen suddenly became replaced by what I can only assume is the Pipboy's body cripple textures. That is, a big black screen with heads, arms, and other assorted body parts all side by side in various states of being crippled. And odly enough, xbox button prompts, mind you I was on PC.
And also my dialogue boxes were messed up, they wouldn't advance with the spoken dialogue. For example, 'Bob' could say "You're pretty good... Ever think of joining the rangers?" And the dialogue box'd only show 'You're pretty good"
This was fixed by a restart.

Not dead, just feeling like it.I love the one baby Nightstalker with the Quantum bottle in the corner.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.I would like to maul a dead horse and restate that New Vegas is unplayable on Playstation 3.
I'm under 5,000B and just killed House, now I'm trying to talk to the different organizations and the game won't let me enter a building without freezing and forcing me to unplug my PS 3.
Bethesda makes most of its money through console sales my ass. I can't believe this is where their profits generate from, this issue is ridiculous. I've never had this issue with 3, or any of the Elder Scrolls.
I can almost accept it when I've done something stupid and set off a war between Boone and the Legion's fortress, throwing a grenade or two in to further upset the framerate. But entering and leaving the Gomorrah? That makes me angry.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Does any one have a link to those Logos from a while back?
I could really use the stars for pre-war amercia.
Playing Fallout 3 with the FWE mod. It's hard going, yet kinda addictive, but I'm spending almost as much time restarting the game after crashes than playing it. Fallout 3 used to be far more stable on my pc than New Vegas was, even when heavily modded. I don't know what the heck is going on just now.
Sounds like Lannius is smarter than Caesar is NOW but probably not smarter than he was when he was founding the damn faction to begin with.
