No worries. Like I said, it is kinda confusing. smile

Also, the actual episode is pretty funny.

Here is some gameplay footage from Corpse Killer. A game that would not work during his Sega CD review.

The actual episode was great.

And Corpse Killer is the opposite of great. tongue

Anyone notice the music for the Nerd Christmas Special was composed by Bear McCreary?

[up] I don't even watch anything he's composed for, but I still thought "Wow, I know that name from somewhere".

We should use this topic to post his non-AVGN videos.

Here's his newest movie review, We Wish You a Turtle's Christmas. http://www.cinemassacre.com/2010/12/11/we-wish-you-a-turtle-christmas/

I can't help but think that video originated after he saw one too many stupid references or parodies and decided to comment on it.

New review, Day Dreamin' Davey. Pretty good, my only complaint is that was clearly ancient Greece rather than Rome.

Day Dreamin' Davey didn't seem that bad. I mean it was kind of mediocre looking, but it had a few interesting ideas for an NES game.

I think those repetitive stages would get boring pretty fast, though.

The idea of returning to where you'd already dreamed of could have been interesting, but I doubt that it ended up working out that way...

Watching the review, this game kinda creeped me out. Little Nemo is charming, Davey is a narcoleptic psychopath going by his dreams and seeing him photoshopped with the severed head of his teacher is just a bit too likely for my taste.

Yeah, I saw the review myself, and I honestly think he forgot what Greece was. He does it too much to be a simple fluke, but he addresses everything else Greece-related naturally. He must've had Rome in his mind or something.

It's not a really big concern though. Just a gripe. Otherwise the vid was good.

And seriously, this Davey kid has some kind of chronic sleeping disorder. How the hell do you start day dreaming the moment art class starts? How do you day dream while the principal of the school is talking 2 feet in front of you.

I don't get why he can't have a DNDTR page if he does research errors.

At the end of the newest episode, the Nerd fell asleep and the ending theme from Super Mario Bros 2 played.

My guess is that Mario 2 is the next review.
