If anything, the Bible Games episodes allow James to complain about what shallow representations of the religion the games are.

What, you don't remember in Exodus 22:21 where Moses carries a stack of random animals?

Actually you're right, I ought to reread that passage and learn something about how it's done.

So your problem was that the Super Mecha Death Christ joke went on for far too long? Only episode that immediately comes to mind for skipping, in that case, is the Gyromite episode, since it has a similarly kinda-runs-too-long scenario at the end where the Nerd takes on a giant R.O.B..

The Bible Games episodes, on the other hand, are fine. An example of the sort of humor you get from those episodes (in animated form):

^My reaction at video btw: "Huh, he is animating AVGN's game description? Pretty cool- HOLY CRAP, non caucasian Noah and Jesus! Insta subscription" tongue

Huh, guy's other stuff(which is rather few) are hilarious too, but they tend to be type of humor that is too NSFW for my tastes .-. Well, not gonna cancel the sbuscription since I find them hilarious anyway. Who the heck is that guy anyway? I mean, besides that he seems to be cynical and into dark/immature humor aka 4chan, does he like do animations for people or what? ._.

Haha, you reminded me of some reactions I saw to the new Noah movie: Why does everybody have light skin and dark brown hair? Wouldn't you expect to see some diversity in the progenitors of the whole human race?

[up]You'd also think they wouldn't be quite so white, given how all the Bible stories were written in and take place in the Middle East.

Also, movie was made by atheist from what I heard and it attempts on other ways be more "realistic" like having fictional animals that look like they could have evolved into current ones and having it being set on continent that looks like pangaia. And yet everyone is white! tongue Darn hollywood xP

So, rewatching his Tiger Electronic Games review has made me want to ask this: Have any of you played at least one of the many games he's reviewed over the course of this series? Just curious, since I actually played quite a few Tiger Electronic Games when I was younger {Not the specific ones he shows off, but still. Mc Donalds use to sell a lot of those in happy meals when I was a kid}, and wow, it almost pains me just to be reminded of how utterly bad those "Video Games" were.[lol]

[up]I remember seeing them in toy stores when I was a kid, but never actually bought or played any.

I owned some of those Tiger Electronics games (or, rather, we had them in my house and still do—they were probably my sister's), though I'm not sure if they were ones from the actual company or clones. I never thought they were really that bad. They're little electronic distractions, not meant to be much more than that.

I owned and still own several of the Tiger electronics games (Sonic, Power rangers, Batman, Thunder Blade) and own both Back to the Future and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on NES (I got them both as a gift from a relative as a child, never beat either of them). I've played Silver Surfer, the NES X-Men game, a few of the Batman games he reviewed (including the NES Sunsoft one, the Commodore computer one, which I own and Batman Return of the Joker on NES), most of the Castlevania games reviewed (all of the ones on NES and SNES, and Symphony of the Night, which I own). I owned the Commodore version of Ghostbusters, which I must once again mention was much better than the NES version and closer to the Master System version than any of the others (he mentioned the Commodore version briefly but didn't play it, show it or go into any detail about it). I might have briefly played the Ghostbusters II game. I've played Ghost and Goblins (I own the Commodore version of that), I've played Battletoads, I might have played the NES version of Dragon's Lair, Icari Warriors Back to the Future II, Friday the 13th and the NES Star Trek briefly. I've played Jurassic Park on the NES, Mario is Missing and Mario's Time Machine. I've played the NES and Super NES Star Wars games (yes, even the weird Namco one) There might have been others, but I'm having trouble remembering.

Hm, I think the one Angry-reviewed game I played on console in earnest was Top Gun. Never did pass the second mission until I got to use emulator save-states, but eventually I learned how you're supposed to land safely. I've been aware of a lot of the other games, though, whether it was by watching someone speed-run them or by trying them through emulation. I actually found Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde fascinating for having to reach the end of "reverse world" for the "good ending", the Japanese version having different levels, and the general aesthetic with the curiously low frame-rate. I believe I also recommended the PC versions of the Mario Is Missing games...

And I remember when my cousin had Double Dragon 3 and I thought it was about "the scared stones". smile Totally didn't notice "Bimmy", but maybe we never played 2-player.JUST LIKE THE GAME TESTERS, AMIRITE

I wonder if Desert Bus actually counts as a truly bad game, being that it was an *intentionally* bad game. It's not like the buggy, half-formed, what were they thinking games the Nerd usually plays, this game was out and out trollery. A game made just to torture gamers evil grin

From what I've seen of the collection of videos (most of them), I think the only game I've actually played that he's reviewed is the NES Jurassic Park, which makes actual sense with the manual. I liked it, though I'd never beaten it. It was pretty tough.

In which I attempt to be a writer.

Well, at first I thought what he meant was that he would release the movie and then end the series with that.
