I'll have to try that for next time then. I think the easiest boss is probably the Sandbelching Meerslug, I think that's it.
Now's it's Shulk Time!Well, that was a spectacular way to earn my final Platinum Medal, on Battle Enemies! stage 15.
The final living enemy was a Baldy Long Legs. I blew it to bits with 10 simultaneous Bomb Rock explosions right underneath its bulb. The ending freezecam of it being totally engulfed by a ginormous explosion was spectacular.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Boomity!
Anyway, how do people like the idea of Pikmin on the 3DS?
Sounds hard. And small..
Don't like the idea. Pikmin should stay on consoles, where it benefits from having a larger screen (Thus allowing smaller details, like, y'know, the Pikmin themselves). Not to mention the 3D effect might make it really confusing to aim and such.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I'd like to see it a a concept at least.
So they updated the game again, this time with the option for stylus control.
Five Bad Band:
Big Bad:Emperor Bulblax
The Dragon/Brute: Titan Dweevil
Dark Chick: Plasm Wraith
Evil Genius: Waterwraith
Uh?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I played through Pikmin 1 today. Set a new personal best of 12 days.
- Day 1: Impact Site. Meet Red Pikmin, obtain Main Engine.
- Day 2: Forest of Hope. Meet Yellow Pikmin, obtain Eternal Fuel Dynamo and Shock Absorber, bomb the two stone walls immediately adjacent to the Yellow Onion.
- Day 3: Forest of Hope. Bomb the remaining stone walls, obtain the Whimsical Radar, Extraordinary Bolt, and Nova Blaster.
- Day 4: Forest Navel. Meet Blue Pikmin, obtain the Automatic Gear, Space Float, #1 Ionium Jet, and Gravity Jumper, destroy all of the stone walls surrounding the landing site and unfurl all the bridges, and also destroy the black dirt wall leading to the lower ridge.
- Day 5: Impact Site. Obtain the Positron Generator, and drastically bolster all Pikmin numbers.
- Day 6: Forest of Hope. Obtain the Geiger Counter, Sagittarius, and Radiation Canopy.
- Day 7: Forest Navel. Obtain the Omega Stabilizer and Guard Satellite.
- Day 8: Forest Navel. Obtain the Libra, Analog Computer, and Anti-Dioxin Filter.
- Day 9: Distant Spring. Obtain the Interstellar Radio, Massage Machine, Repair-type Bolt, and get utterly ravaged by the Smoky Progg. Very bad day.
- Day 10: Distant Spring. Obtain the Gluon Drive, defeat a lot of enemies and destroy all walls and unfurl all bridges except those right near the Cannon Beetle. Not a productive day either.
- Day 11: Distant Spring. Obtain the Zirconium Rotor, Pilot's Seat, #2 Ionium Jet, Chronos Reactor, UV Lamp, and Bowsprit. VERY good day.
- Day 12: Final Trial. Defeat Emperor Bulblax and claim the Secret Safe.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! So soon? I thought that they'd at least wait for the next console.
If they do make a fourquel I'd hope that it'd more substance than 3. It felt so small in comparison to 2, and a whole lot shorter.
I'm surprised, but it wouldn't be the first time a same console gets 2 Pikmin games. I don't see why the Wii U couldn't pull a GameCube, if anything that will actually help to sell the console. And at least to me Pikmin 2 was better than the first, so I will give it the benefit of the doubt (they're all good games, though).
Pikmin 2 was longer but it was incredibly copy paste. I'm kind of concerned that this new game will be like that. One thing I liked about Pikmin 3 was that it tried to be different from the previous two while still being recognizable as Pikmin. That aside I am excited since Pikmin 2 was still a great game. I wonder what new Pikmin types they'll have.
Sounds pretty Launch Title to me.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyPikmin 3 was a really solid experience in general, so I'm can't really think of many desires I have for this game beyond expanding on what its predecessor did and reintroducing the Piklopedia.
...Maybe have your ship nonfunctional at some point(s) in the game so you're forced to survive through the night? That could be interesting/terrifying.

Now that's an idea. The night thing, I mean. There are a lot of ways it could be done, but I'm sure it'd be interesting. Who knows what kind of nocturnal horrors are out there...?
They really need to bring back the Piklopedia, though. It was really disappointing not to have it.
This is great news. It seems Nintendo has fully renewed interest in the Pikmin series, and there is a lot of potential based on what Pikmin 3 gave us. I'm pretty sure this will be a launch title for the NX, and the first footage will be sometime next year.
Is this a Jo Jo reference?I've always been fascinated by the idea of being able to explore at night. Maybe they could make it some kind of challenge mode that's unlocked after you beat the main story.
I wonder what we'll be collecting this time, if not ship parts, treasures, or fruit?
I kinda sorta wouldn't mind if they expanded on the fruit. We only had 30 different kinds last game and there are hundreds of wonderful fruit.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! It depends on what the protagonists of this game are. The existence of Koppai proves that there's more than one world with ant-sized inhabitants. They could be after any number of things. I think it would be neat if we had a game that pitted us against another group of explorers.

Maybe they can take a page from Overlord's book and have a Pikmin type with a projectile attack. You could throw them up somewhere hard to reach and have them hit the enemies that come during the night. At least to soften them up for the rest of your pikmin.
So if anyone cares apparently Chuggaaconroy's newest LP will be Pikmin 3, starting tomorrow.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. It was bound to happen at some point given his history with the franchise. It took more time than what I was expecting, but the wait will be worth it.
Fuck yeah! I'm surprised this took so long.
I normally find it harder than the next three at least, but this playthrough I floored it in just a few seconds. Breaking its tail crystal and then having your Pikmin swarm it when it goes partially onto a wall kills it really fast.
