I think those are announced to be happening after Owari. I think they're still debating on how to adapt Koyomi though.
Sex-negative outrage culture and the Illuminati are realYeah. They said they already had the third volume of Owari's scenari written but they're not sure how to present it and that they're still trying to figure out how to 'announce' the Koyomimonogatari adaptation.
So Owari kicked off with a double-length episode that seems to be set some time during the first season
Meanwhile, Kizu is three films that begin showing on January 8. Not sure how that's going to work
can't be...Hanekawa's hair is post bake.
It's set sometime post Nise, isn't it?
Though I don't know if it's important here beyond this being Ougi's first appearance, chronologically.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Mm. Not really the best start. That was pretty boring.
I dunno, I liked it; especially Ougi being fantastically creepy.
Should've checked the list.Yeah, it seems to be placed between Nise and the earliest point of S2.
From my understanding it's actually set around the Nadeko Medusa arc so actually towards the end of Monogatari Series Second Season.
He speaks of Ougi like he doesn't know much about her at this point whereas in the Hachikuji arc he decided to run a bit of an experiment on her, indicating familiarity and wariness.
Isn't Nadeko Medusa near the beginning? At the very least, it's before the Mayoi arc.
I misremembered when Nadeko Medusa takes place. Either way this last episode takes place before/around Nadeko Medusa which matches up with what Arha says.
Oikura is fucked up. I like her!
An inkling on Let's Make a Deal. Makes perfect sense
Two design aspects undermined it a tad: the room when they were trapped in it, which was too bright for the atmosphere it should have conveyed, and this new girl's face. Not the first time the girls can only be told apart by hairstyle, but she just looked too similar to Senjou.
But I'm puzzled as to where the pun forming "how much" comes from. Doesn't seem t come naturally from that name.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years. The Monty Hall problem made me cry when I was a kid. Seriously, I bawled because it destroyed my understanding of the world. Newfound respect fro Araragi's mental fortitude.
No, no, don't take this at face value. Remember, he's suicidal and believes the world has no true justice anymore.
Yes, but he accepts the answer to the Monty Hall problem. It all balances out.
You're assuming one didn't cause the other.
To be fair you're also assuming he's suicidal and that he's given up on the idea of justice when that's never actually been stated.
Okay, first, you're taking a joke seriously. Second, he's definitely suicidal given that he's tried to kill himself at least three times off the top of my head.
Didn't he say he lost faith in justice, like, last episode?
Just caught up on the first episode...I enjoyed the puzzle and the themes discussed, despite the entire episode being mostly pure dialogue. Ougi moving like a snake is probably pushing the boundaries of unsubtle though.
So, episode 3 is out and subbed. Somehow
Not the strongest episode, but still an interesting bit of backstory
Oh monogatari series, will you cease to be inexplicably fun to look at?
I was actually disappointed they didn't explain why the Monty Hall problem works the way it does. I did get Senjyougahara (I'm not going to bother spelling that correctly) knocking the new girls lights out, so it all evens out.
I'm disappointed, Tropers. Very disappointed
With Kizu actually happening, now we just need Koyomi, the last third of Owari, and Zokuowari
